This 1 hour and 45 minutes is only half of the amazing journey that Aton performed on the 8th October 2022 at Doka during our night.

There is not much to say about it, it simply shows the mentality and values of one of our best friends, hard work, true passion and love for the underground electronic music.

Hailing from Osaka, Japan, Paperkraft brings a high energy instalment of top tier tune selections and unreleased material with episode 76 of the CommaCast Series.

An artist that has been continously growing within the underground electronic circuits over a number of years. We first heard of the Paperkraft name back in the primetime of the lo-fi house and techno days, an artist that was consistantly putting out truly moving and forward thinking productions. Now pushing more tech and prog inspired house music under this alias and delightfully sharing his track 'Space Cadet' with us for the latest ToneShift compilation, it's apparent even more so that Paperkraft is a true talent capable of producing top quality in any style they explore. La Rama is back with a 6th release, right on time for the shops 8th anniversary. Most of our energy goes in to keeping the brick and mortar stocked up + making sure the sound is right over at Montreal’s Sans Soleil… but when a friend comes through with some slammin’ tracks, we have got to make some time to get it pressed up and out in the world.

Tazz is back on wax after a short break with three high quality grooves produced over the last few years. The local DJ/Producer and dear friend of the shop took some time out to start a family after a serious stretch of releases on labels Underground Quality, Tsuba, New Kanada and his own Infected Rhythms.

We are overjoyed to present ‘Razmattaz’, a serious 12” for your crate & the return to form of a top notch music maker :-)

T1000 kicks it off, taking up the whole A side for an 11-minute ride that could just keep on thumping. Deep & dubby Techno to lock the movers and shakers in an extended moment of gentle intensity.

TWA, short for Techno With Attitude, has Tazz going at you with an anthem for bringing down the walls! May we recommend it for high volume play, working the kick bins and getting the tweeters singing.

Underground 5 is the House jam to tip the scales. A collaboration with long time friend Bacanito. You can feel the chemistry was right on the day they laid it down. Play it out, and let us know how it goes?

For the debut release on our new Soft Rock For Hard Times imprint, @suzannekraft covers Sugarcane's unforgettable soft-rock-meets-modern-soul ballad "What You Do To Me." Originally released as a limited 45 and featured on WDVE's first Pittsburgh Rocks compilation in 1980, and then featured on Soft Rock for Hard Times Vol. 2 in 2014. Recorded and produced by Suzanne Kraft with a pitch perfect synthesizer solo by Jordan Czamanski of @jujujordash, this version expertly matches the original song's private press essence with a full sound and dynamic arrangement that is recognizably Suzanne Kraft.

@secret-circuit delivers an extraordinarily heavy dub on the flip, launching Suzanne Kraft's cover forward with bass and drums under waves of delay and echo, bouncing the song towards the iconic synth solo which Secret Circuit sends into pure soundsystem bliss.

The @universalcave crew whipped up a bonus ATMOS mix for the digital release, easing the song into downtempo, chilled-out arpeggiation directed squarely at horizontal listeners everywhere. We made a very limited edition of single sided dubplates.
