Next up on our airwaves is Rude66. As one of the godfathers of the infamous West Coast sound of Holland, Electro and Acid maestro Rude 66 needs no introduction. More than 30 years after his first release, Rude and his wife Shaunna on vocals are still going strong, honing their unique brand of musical skills to perfection.
As a mastering engineer, Rude lends his sound and considerable experience to a new generation of vinyl labels with a client list that reads like a who-is-who of cool and influential electronic music communities.
Travelling the world like he did for many years playing live or as a dj has been impossible for a while. But rude’s dj sets can be heard on intergalactic FM and many online stations, taking cues from his huge and diverse vinyl collection and exclusive unreleased tracks.

Just back from playing at this years DT Camp, Timothy has spent much of this year, between gigs working on new music for his new label Dungeon Module, some of which is included in this mix which along the way includes weirdo ambient, soundtrack, jak, industrial and techno sounds.

Welcome to the underground of the Portuguese underground. Not necessarily the oldest members, but at least among the most active and the most honest, because WTVR and 451F are the kind of artists who are involved, not to say committed, in their artistic approach and in all their cultural activism. Whether it's a career as a “pyromaniac” visual artist or one made up of encounters and accidents, these two producers certainly share a desire to defy the boundaries between genres, both thirsting for sonic experimentation.

So, is it still footwork? Is it still jungle? Or halftime? Or breakcore? Not really... and a bit of all that at the same time. And that's what makes this production so interesting. So, let's experiment!

For the next episode of Knekelhuis we've invited Utrecht based, but intergalactic in his mind, Luke Cohlen. We know Luke as a key player in the Dom city underground scene, not only as a stand-out DJ and fanatic digger, but as a pusher of Stranded FM and core member of the intimate electronic music collective Cultfarm.  His sets always present a signature style - rhythmic, trippy, and evocative. For our 60th episode Luke prepared a raw and autonomous mix, interpreting the ethos of Knekelhuis. By playing looming and twisted electronics that he finds a perfect fit with the label. A blend of spoken word and fine  intersections between wave, post-punk, dub and electro, that he holds so dear.
