From raw industrial sounds to ambient hypnosis OBCDN aka Obsidian delivers a high-energy Techno journey for one to experience. Born and raised in the small industrial town of Šiauliai OBCDN has always been looking after northern Lithuania’s underground scene by organizing numerous illegal warehouse raves and cultural electronic music gatherings. His roots come from playing Detroit electro and breakbeat sounds on vinyl since 2008 in obscure and abandoned places that brought him to his current sound. Kablys club and Swedish collective Substantiv resident already recognized in the global underground clubbing scene and supported such names as Manu Le Malin, Surit (NX1), DYEN, Regal, Tommy Four Seven, Kobosil, SPFDJ, Blue hour, SNTS, Endlec, Crystal Geometry, Rebekah, Gijensu, Noneoftheabove, Anetha, Parallx, Paula Temple, Shlømo, RVDE.

The “Beyond” EP is the following OBCDN’s creative statement. A well-crafted 4-tracker contains pure peak-timers for the intensive dancefloor journey at any kind of rave around the globe.

The 17th release of the label belongs to the electronic producer Oliver. Born from within the UK capital’s neglected walls and spaces, the project was formed around an intersection between Post-Punk, EBM, Darkwave, Industrial Techno and Rave. Building a loyal following throughout the London rave circuit, Oliver established his name through his high-energy sets capable of moving any dancefloor. "Knuckle Love" - debut EP with EBM tracks and the characteristic Goth wave sound. Tunes sound complex: powerful cathedral reefs of synthesizers, industrial energy and the roars of the drum machines. 4 Original Tracks are accompanied by a massive remixes by Lander - new electro project from Jerome Tcherneyan (Years of Denial) and Claus Fuss (Oneoneone); Filmmaker (Opal Tapes).

Tears For Fears was the first series of releases published by Soil Records, and the first volume of this series is listed as the label's #2 release. This first publication revealed the range of action of the label or the sound approach that it planned to adopt, although over time the musical versatility gave way to a completely identifiable style, with a special predilection for the derivation of the industrial to the dance floor or other genres such as EBM.

It is precisely these new sound outbreaks derived from EBM, which unlike the original genre of the 80s have mostly evolved towards a clearer and more elaborate sonority, that can be equated with the current sound aspect of the label. But the first volume of Tears For Fears already showed us on a small scale, with only 6 tracks, that the musical formula can be broader and that it does not only adhere to the same concept.

The second edition of this series of releases revealed that the label had much more weight than in its first year of life but, its musical concept was exactly the same, it had only grown in collaborations, in publications and in number of followers. And two years later we can ratify that Tears For Fears conserves the same nature as the two previous volumes.

This third volume has 22 tracks, from 22 different artists, with a sound that defines the label very well and with a roster full of new faces, of artists who appear for the first time on this platform.
