At the dawn of its third season, Bella Ursa is proud to present you with the label head honcho’s second concept album.

Acting as a direct prequel to Letherique’s first album, Aurōra, Tenebrās Persequī depicts the harrowing journey of mankind on the self-destructive path to a fictional nuclear holocaust. Through 11 feverishly-crafted songs comprising one cohesive soundtrack, it portrays a tale of vile deception, inextricable conflicts, and inner torments which ultimately lead to a global rain of atomic ruin – and a world reborn.

Taking its inspiration from Public Informational Films of the Cold War era, a time when reality could sometimes be seen casually flirting with our quirkiest dystopian fantasies, it pays a vibrant homage to their sonic aesthetics.

Whether he is harnessing the beauty of chaotic melancholy or diving deep into tenebrous atmospherics, Letherique aims once again at taking you on a singular journey through unexpected sonic vistas of a world soon to be turned upside-down via atomically blast.

Tenebrās Persequī will be released digitally on all download and streaming platforms. It will also be available in a beautiful UV printed cassette tape.

"-40.715921" is experimental in its own right, with the sounds of delayed acoustic arrangements building slowly and interweaving to create an immersive atmosphere. The full EP is fast-paced, but not in an overly frenetic way, and nevertheless enjoyable.

J. Mono is an introverted songcrafter-synthjammer mastermind of the Budapest based, Wedding Acid Group trio. As J.Mono he stands alone leaning on his machines, making way for his internal world, heart and soul. 

He twists our sense of time again, coming up with the third installment of his ‘Redate’ series on Dalmata Daniel: an elegant selection of uncut tracks, written and recorded between 2014 and 2015, roaming in the fields of electro, acid, IDM and EBM. 

The cassette version includes not only Redate III (as side A), but a collection of J. Mono’s various other tracks created between 2017 and 2021, that appeared on compilation albums beforehand(as side B). In other words, with this fresh new tape you’re all set with 8 years of J. Mono experience.
