This week in azkaban we welcome prisoner #023 NOT A HEADLINER. Madrid-based producer and DJ, Not a Headliner is a young upcoming artist which seeks to develop an extremely characteristic and personal sound in his tracks. In this vinyl set, there’s a mixture of influences from all over the world and history:  Starting at some old eastern classic techno, Detroit-ish vibes and some other more fast-paced and recent productions.

Not A Headliner es la versión caótica del DJ y productor español José Garrido, un proyecto musical centrado en el techno con ciertas influencias de IDM, con el cual trata ofrecer su visión más personal a través de sus producciones y sets. 
 
Jose Garrido Benítez, aka Not a Headliner, es un artista español actualmente afincado en Madrid, es copropietario de dos sellos: "Unsolved" y "Global Offensive Corporation", y los utiliza con el fin de exponer su propia visión de la música electrónica y en general, el amplio movimiento que se genera a raíz de la expresión y sus exponentes. 

Durante este último año, mientras trabajaba en la confección de su propio sonido, tanto en producciones como en sets en directo, ha tenido la oportunidad de tocar en algunos eventos destacados como la apertura de "Vortex" en Industrial Copera o "NYE" en Cassete Club, acompañado en ambos por respetados artistas como Quelza, Unkle Fon, Orbe, Temudo, Xpansul o Aiken por no mencionar muchos otros.

Not A Headliner is the chaotic version of the Spanish DJ and producer, Jose Garrido, a musical project focused on techno with some idm taste that tries to deliver his most personal vision through self-productions and sets.

Jose Garrido Benítez, aka Not a Headliner, is a Spanish artist currently based in Madrid, he’s the co-owner of two different labels: "Unsolved" and "Global Offensive Corporation", and uses them to expose his very own vision of electronic music and overall, the wider movement that it generates along its own expression.

During this past year while working on achieving his own sound, both in productions and live acts, he has had the opportunity to play in some outstanding events such as the opening of “Vortex” at Industrial Copera or “NYE” at Cassete Club, playing in both two among some respected artists such as Quelza, Unkle Fon, Orbe, Temudo, Xpansul or Aiken not to mention many others.

Born in Italy, Francesco Lolli fell in love with techno music at the age of 14, playing in private parties. In the following 4 years he experimented new sets, always keeping an industrial imprint, but increasing the BPM. In his sets you can always appreciate a constant level of energy. With releases on labels such as Expel Your Demons, Crusade, Obscur, Antism, Pure Hate and others!

ÅNPO̷ is a project that was born in 2015 with the approach to electronic music. From the beginning, a lover of "fast" sounds, he began his career as a DJ, playing in some raves, and continues in 2020 with the beginning of his real musical project. His productions are characterised by fast and pressing kicks, accompanied by crazy melodies and other extraordinary sounds that distinguish his style.
