For this episode we invited the fresh RAW signee STEYA - originally from Antwerpen and since the past 5 years based in Berlin. She delivers the rough sound of Germany's capital, not coming short on groovy and detroitesque tracks. Her first release, which can be found on RAW's `Third Eye´ compilation, came out earlier this month and sets the foundation for many more releases to come in the next months and years. We are excited to be part of witnessing the path of this artist! Enjoy.

We continue with our Label of Month section. In this second installment of February our colleagues from Matterwave Records invite Lee Holman. The Irishman gives us a hypnotic set where his influences are very clear. We can also find that almost all the tracks are his own, something that demonstrates his good work and experience as a producer. With a classically trained past in cello and church choirs, it is a given where their reverberant soundscapes and symphonic narratives have their roots. Linn Elisabet has released acclaimed works on labels such as 47 and Noise Manifesto, as well as their own imprint Acts of Rebellion. The label expands on Elisabet’s mission: making conventional functionality and restraining policies bow for non-compliance.

Thanos Hana counts multiple performances in clubs such as Griessmuehle-Berlin, Tresor-Berlin, Perron-Rotterdam, Radion-Amsterdam presenting DJ sets and hardware-based live sets which are made for dark spaces and spark off an immediate response from the floor.
