Sunexplosions label head Cary Crank opens a portal with Inner Atlas—a transportive cut where organic percussion, shimmering pads and sky‑bound harmonies guide listeners into other worlds. True to his signature, the original leans into analog warmth and a strong sense of narrative flow, shaped by years spent in the Frankfurt scene that nurtured his sound. The release is completed by two distinctive remixes: Kyotto, the Sri Lankan artist known for his melodic storytelling and underground sound, and CAMILA (AR), a rising talent from Argentina whose hypnotic progressive style is gaining international attention. Together they deliver a diverse and immersive EP that captures the essence of modern Progressive House.

A key fixture in the record bags of DJs throughout the past few decades, best known for their unforgettably odd house anthem ‘He Not In’, it’s been some years since Andy Meecham and Dean Meredith last collaborated as Chicken Lips. As such, it’s with no little delight that Phantasy welcomes them back into the fold with one of their most mind-bending tracks yet, accompanied by a remix from a fellow stalwart of the underground, DJ Sotofett.

Claptrap’s latest release comes from Dr Valentines, a London based producer and founder of the label. Dr Valentines has been making those smooth transitions and hauling funk all the way to funky since the year 2000. Whilst avoiding grave responsibility in the field, he has constructed himself a large music computer, the likes of which you have never seen. Dr Valentines’ debut release features four dance floor-ready jams. Track 1 ‘Stealthoscope’ opens with some serious space, kicking with bold persistence the track unfolds slowly to reveal its driving intent, the space from the start is filled with more bold objects. Some are recognised. Track 2, ‘GP2000’ is a flash into a future we all struggle to remember, the imagined future of the past. A fine set of patches and items recorded entirely incidentally as
you will like it. Track 3, ‘Magnetic Renaissance Imaging’ is a monster xox jam with some seriously relaxed vibe. The track develops to include some star live performances to get nice and lost in. The final track , ‘Ambudance’ is a gem, driving its way to the conclusion of the EP. It has a real positive dancing energy, with room for manoeuvre around the floor with the potential to get people stomping.

Johannes goes all Piano-Breakbeat-Hands-Up on “Street Pack” alongside more piano action on “Turbo Basmati". Fragile X is the new collaborative guise of Inga Schunn and Dylan Chase, the latter has been releasing material as Caffeine Worldwide over the past few years. Here with the ‘Lifetime’ EP the pair inaugurate their new project, the collection of tracks was recorded over four days in Mexico City in early 2019. Schunn provided vocals while Chase focused on the mechanical aspects. It was mixed by Chase in Mexico City in 2020, while he was sick with Covid-19. We don’t know if there will be another record. A lot is uncertain these days. This EP marks the third vinyl release by Bouquet, a label and party series based in Chase’s hometown of San Diego.
Title-cut ‘Lifetime’ leads the release with garage tinged off-kilter drums, swirling atmospherics, snaking sub bass grooves and resonant synth melodies all dynamically
 underneath Schunn’s hypnotic vocal stylings. ‘Prix’ follows and employs a similarly organic rhythmic feel while stirring in airy string melodies, plucked strings and an amalgamation of fluttering woodwind and acid synths throughout.
‘Karaoke Gurl’ kicks off the flip side of the EP, edging into electronica realms with a bumpy 303 bass hook and dreamy synth chimes while once again welcoming Inga’s silvery vocal contributions. The ‘Fragile X’ theme then concludes the project on a cinematic tip, nodding towards an early 2000’s IDM aesthetic with broken drums, textural synths and organ melodies.

A ten-course meal was awaiting the guests who huddled around a dimly lit wooden table wedged in the corner of the restaurant. As they exchanged pleasantries and drank wine they were slowly overcome by the implacable avalanche of taste: each ingredient dissected and singled out, each recipe deconstructed and elevated, creating newly discovered flavours. Each new dish quashed its predecessor with its soaring levels of palatable intricacy, leaving the guests' taste buds eagerly awaiting what lay in store next.

Today we share Byron The Aquarius' version; a sunkissed rework that matches VONDA7's dreamy far out vocals with weightless keyboard stabs and tripped out breaks.

Lis Sarroca is very defined by her passion. She was born in the northern city of Chihuahua, México. She moved to Barcelona in 2010 and she’s been living there since. In Spain she grew enormously as a DJ and a producer releasing records in labels such as Hot Haus Recs. Lis very devoted to house music. ‘’Razz’’ is an instrumental gospel influenced song with chord progressions reminding us the Basement Boys productions from the 90’s a-la- Crystal Waters, and an homage to her beloved Razzmatazz club we are proud to say that this is our favorite song by Lis. On the A2, Lis demonstrates her complex melodic abilities and knowledge in synthesis with a very ‘’New Disco / Proto House’’ sound on ‘’We are all’’. On the B side, Vicario Musique co-founder 4004 gives the A side with an explosive acid flip to the gospel piano melodies. If house is a spirit, this one is holy for sure.
