Sobek & MULYA - #SENDBRO

We discovered this song through an instagram story of good friend, Belgrade's famous @kristijanmolnar and got immediately engaged to the sound and the vocal. Following the thread we found the artist behind Buba @milos-bulajic from Montenegro and agreed on to release this gem the proper way.

Neo-progressive rock / jazz fusion band EAST was a collective of open minded and talented musicians in the late 70's and 80's. Although the iron curtain and the peculiar heritage of socialist era in Eastern Europe they were able to tour around the world, and also put timeless and special records on the table.

“Agymosas” means “Brainwash” simply: the lyrics from 1983 sounds valid about the effect and power of marketing, especially when we think of the meta period which knocks on our doors already.

Closing the story of this special release we would like to thank for the approval by the original authors and Hungaroton label.

@sobek1 Dj-Producer-Remixer-Housefather-Sendbro-Id wizard is back with two originals which were absolutely worth the wait. Just business melodic as usual: functional dance music that can't be classified as a certain style.

Many things can be toxic to someone, but in this case the extent of the poisoning is due to an overdose of synths. The rollercoaster starts from the first minute and the extreme ride is limited only by the wild boar strike-like bass in the lower part of the process. Sometimes.

Suddenly the lead arrives which I think is the name of the track hahaha, and then the “here is the drop-where is the drop” principle prevails. At the end we get into the haunted house where paranormal activities are fulfilled. Listen to me, this one played by everyone, so you don’t’ have to be scared…

As the title promise you’ll get the necessary tension, so just take it easy. You’re basking on underground subs, winding leads, emotional arpeggio, nicely then BUMM, the drama arrives, classic Sobek dramaturgy for “The Tensioner”

Let the #sendbro god open your wallets and transfer windows papis.

Complaint Kulture is not about those tunes to fill gaps between bangers, but you already well noted this fact I think. Levente has two fresh and highly qualified songs to make you shine at the party, let’s analyze them a bit to match the press text cliché expectations.

I play Tacos Favoritos since the title was 93_1 only and have a feeling this is one of the coolest tacos @mulyamusic ever prepared. Chunky, chuggy and crispy at the same time not to mention the mixture of well roasted beef, pork belly and lamb which hits you half an hour later of consumption.

He kept sending it and then at a certain point we felt the flow of energy; "Get Out" is funny-bumpy ride tries to collapse in parts and then puts itself back together again, mastervibes.

Vibe master tribal-indie shaman @theroommatesweb is a long time favorite of ours and having a chance to work with him is a true honor. Balancing between the construction sites all across Mexico (our boy is an architect) and the non-commercial dancefloors of the globe Mario always brings quality; "Wualah" is a nice affair fulfiled with mystery bringing hope to the ancestral community.

Opening 2024 at Complaint Kulture with style I've asked @mulyamusic if he has some unfinished projects laying on his Lacie drive and I was lucky to receive two mediocre tracks launching our year nicely.

The second track called ,,Shuffled". I can hardly say too much about it, really strange, semi-annoying but can be digested after some listens. As long as MULYA gives his best music to other labels its an acceptable one. The glass is half empty.

Although the digital sun shines bright in Tulum always we would say there are some tunes which could be labelled as winter music typically. @igor_bartyuk (from mountainous Caucasian) and @valon_music (from ice-cold Sweden) are the masters of this genre and we're more than happy to work with them on a deep journey up here.

The title track is a very good example how to build a vibe staying low and strange only, very well tested, very well working out, low risk on "Deceit And Pretense". And what deceit and pretense means these times? We'll leave it on you to imagine, hehe.

Beauty work on the synths, charismatic and psychedelic on the details. Its quite close to classical music in some ways, the drama exists, could be an anthem sometime. Perfect fit for transitions in a set or sunrises.

Very very close to the title track but more functional especially if we talk about the break. That dried out synth which creates the tension is something, not to talk about all the psychos going all round. Madness.

Time and destiny have come, early autumn 2024 Tuluminaty took over our boutique label to impress.

Golden-haired @goldenhourdj delivered a beautiful bunch of tunes which we immediately got engaged to, not to mention the Dixon videos which were also part of the pack; the point of no return.

As a former junglist listening to "K.Y.M.O." was love at first sight, heavy drummed, nature atmosphere deep journey which turns wild at some point, but then sits back on the neck of the elephant. If you feel a bit zooish at the club playing give it a chance.

Our main artist @goldenhourdj went deep into the wilderness but we felt the stakes could be even higher. What to do when you need something freaky but danceable at the same time? Life could surprise you and bring sudden changes. By keeping the core values of Complaint Kulture, a chapter ended, and another began late 2024. MULYA will be missed forever but his legacy remains with us and the dancers of our universe.

In the past year, we have focused on different things; our papi was polishing his sound and putting the stakes higher and higher, and I was closer to the label process, promoting events, and giving the best we can for in-house artists. Luckily there's one song we could finish together and I've felt it is the right time to drop and share with all of you.

The concept of Time Out Culto was to blend afroish and indiesh elements, our fav samples and tools into a long journey by deconstructing the layers and building it up step by step. It's a perfect one to open a set or give a little breath to the floor, I hope you'll like it.

Gathering samples from Splice became practically a standard and in most cases we hear uncharacteristic results, but there are exceptions of course. ,,A New Day" is an emotional and partly deep journey with some ups and downs, in between a filler and a killer, that works perfectly on the floor.

,,Cadence" follows actual trends closely and rides high all the way, never drops the mood for a moment. A nice blend of tribal-melodic-deep house, gains attention from the crowd. If I wrote more than this I would surely over-explain, give it a try and let me know how it was.
