Melómana opens the year with a compilation that brings together producers who have marked and defined the musical orientation of the label. Its reference 039 is not only a testimony of long-term work, it is also the announcement of what is to come this year 2024.

The compilation brings together songs by artists such as Panka Panka, Azaria, Yahaira, JGR, Jackwasfaster, Ludviq, Nick Hanzo, Macaulay, Mijo, Pastor in Vegas, Rubinskee, Ademarr, Joseeph. Established talents on the scene, as well as emerging projects, offering an approach as designed for the track as it is for home listening. Altogether, we find fused rhythms and rich soundscapes that lead us to an exploration as fluid as it is captivating. The album offers us a dynamic contrast that shows the versatility of a timeless project, created from talent, meticulousness and sonic coherence.The level of production of these guys is intense but, on the other hand, the care of the sounds they release is at the level of those who do things because they want and with the time they really need. The tracks have strength and jump over the prevailing conventions, knowing how to avoid the most recurrent rawness and darkness, seeking dance but without predictable tricks and without exceeding an understandable level of experimentation suitable for the dance floor.

We could say that each producer summarizes their intentions in this compilation, seeking novelty without losing nostalgia, that they play with the genre but without falling into predictable tricks, nor into the arrogance of those who get wrapped up in a genre or mannerism to demonstrate that They have personality. And this is just the beginning, because this year Melómana is going to bring us many surprises.

Working together with your countrymen is a basic rule among melodic business bros - we've learned that over the years. As diligent students, we're always striving to adapt ourselves to these standards and actively searching for talents in close geographical proximity. It ain’t easy, I would say.

Fortunately, Hungarian Papi Yourr has been around for a long time, and we're more than happy that he teamed up with Sobek for two hypnotic dance floor burners. Let’s take a look at each of these masterpieces one by one.

Belly Dance Services unveils its 29th release, Cromo by Ismael Pinkler —
three hypnotic club cuts that shimmer between trance and tension, plus a
dada-tinged remix from Nick Hanzo, his vocals spiraling through the mix like
a fever dream, all mastered by wizzard Oltrefuturo.

There’s a strange gravity to Ismael Pinkler’s music — the kind that pulls you
gently under, until you realize you’ve been dancing inside a dream. Born in
1983 in Buenos Aires, he’s spent two decades shaping the Latin American
electronic underground, bending rhythm and texture into something intimate
and alive.

After years of collaborations — most notably as one half of Carisma — Pinkler
resurfaced with Geografía Mental, then drifted into deeper waters with his
ambient album Verde Profundo. A master of ambiences, he now returns to the
floor with Cromo: three hypnotic club bangers that merge raw pulse, lush
texture, and emotional precision.

Label head Nick Hanzo twists Cromo into a surreal, dadaist rework, his vocals
looping like an incantation at 3 a.m.
