Cupcake Project é funk, disco, soul. Mesclado à house music. É o lado Nu Disco do DJ e produtor musical Rafael Araujo, ícone do techno no Sul do país desde 1999.  

Com o Cupcake Project, Araujo levou sua música para selos como Nurvous Records. Royal Soul Records, Moonsol Music, South B e Tech Grooves Records. Chegou a ter seus lançamentos figurando entre os top 100 de Indie Dance / Nu Disco do Beatport. Suas tracks tiveram support de nomes como Flight Facilities, Aeroplane e Kolombo.

Araujo já morou na Inglaterra, Buenos Aires, Flórida e Califórnia. Sua música expressa justamente toda essa sua vivência e experiência passando por lugares diferentes. Em sua carreira, já realizou turnês pela Europa. Tocou na Alemanha, França, Polônia e Inglaterra. Também já se apresentou no Uruguai e Argentina. Por todos os países por onde morou, tocou e participou ativamente do cenário eletrônico local.

Já teve a oportunidade de mostrar o seu trabalho em clubes como Avalon e Playhouse (Hollywood), Rex Club (Paris), D-Edge (São Paulo), Warung Beach Club (Itajaí), Green Valley (Balneário Camboriú), Bahrein Club (Buenos Aires), The Fridge (Londres) e Club Vibe (Curitiba). Passou por festivais como Antiworld 2002, 2003, 2004 e 2005 (Londres), Tribaltech 2007 e 2012 (Curitiba) e Lightning in a Bottle 2012 (Califórnia).

Possui dois selos fonográficos desde 2002. BR909 Records (techno) e Eletrodomésticos Records (house). E é sócio fundador e integrante da AIMEC - Academia Internacional de Música Eletrônica.

I've started playing in 2017 and played at some clubs and events here in my city. I love search and find melodic and groovy sounds.
Now I'm focusing at producing and soon I'll post some personal songs here.

Oldskool project from Rafael Araujo. DJ and Music Producer from Curitiba - Brazil.
Lots of funky elements, thick bassline and late 70′s/early 80′s influence take the tracks beyond disco-ish vocals and strings and show us how real disco house should sound like.

Exploring the roots and strands of House and Disco Music, Agrabah makes the versatility between these genres the inspiration for her signature. Dj and curious researcher, Agrabah plays with the sounds of the 80s and 90s oldschool, sometimes flowing through the beats in 4x4, sometimes diving into the grooves of Break Beat, bringing even unconventional sounds from different parts of the world to the dance floors. Her side of Disco Music is also explored with more intensity through her other “Caju” project.
As a producer, Agrabah also develops her influences within the House Oldschool strands, focusing on broken beats and urban atmospheres, sometimes softer, other times more explosive. With releases by labels as Filth Inc,, Coyribe, @clipp_art, Gop Tun, Gold Dome, Trip to Deep, Gatopardo, Agrabah has already received support from artists like The Blessed Madonna, Quincy Jointz, Nick Warren and Moskalus.
She is currently a Music Production instructor at Aimec Curitiba, and a writing collaborator for Alataj.
