well well well, this has been 20 days, enjoy this one.
vocal is shit? nah don't mind them, I had been practicing and only I can say is a little improvement over 20 days after calm down (listen to that pls),
and yeah the cover is my cat, well was, it had to go to someone else. I still miss her, you could say this song is for my cat but no it's something else.

The idea of this composition is that it serves as the theme for an episode (or game) set in the future, where a team of individuals works for the Interstellar Investigations Service. Their mission is to uncover and solve mysterious events within the Sol system now that humans have expanded their travels and ventures throughout the galaxy.

I was working on this learn from some music that Miles Away's had created for his review of the GForce Oberheim OB-X, an instrument that I happen to own as well.

However, during my experimentation with the instrument, I found myself fixated on a particular melody and progression and image in my mind. This inspired me to expand upon the theme and create a space-themed scene that I thought would fit either with a Game/TV Show type thing.

In any case, I used this as an opportunity to improve my abilities in sound engineering (especially with my Synth VSTi), Ableton techniques, music creation, and audio blending.

Miles Away's music was a huge inspiration for me, as I wanted to capture the same essence in this piece. However, I hope that I have been able to make it my own mark on it and not just create a replica.

Elements I feel I still need to work on for this to be publishable:

1) STOP spending months on a single piece!

2) Mixing (ARGH!) - this is so much something I have to work on more
2) The drums - not really sure it fits right totally - but still learning.
3) Mixing!!!!!
8) OH... in case I didn't say it.... MIXING!!!
