At the clubfront Thomas' holding a steadily expanding schedule – so he can be found performing at selected spots in- & out of his hometown: Pimpernel (Munich), Gewölbe (Cologne), Institut Für Zukunft (Leipzig), ://About Blank, Sisyphos and Heideglühen (Berlin), Batofar (Paris), Zukunft (Zürich), Frank Wiedemann & Ry X's Sacred Ground Festival, Fiction NYC at Analogue and Cityfox at the Avant Gardener / Brooklyn Mirage (New York), CirQ (Venezia), Tunnel (Milan), Audio (Geneva), Minimüzikhol (Istanbul) or Lux Frágil (Lisboa) - are some selected examples. Over the years Thomas Herb has performed alongside artists like John Talabot, Dixon, Ame, Carl Craig, I:Cube, Soundstream, Karizma, Move D, Deetron, Osunlade or Gerd Janson and many more, gaining invaluable experience and inspiration. 

Besides his DJ activities Thomas Herb is busy curating for and contributing to Lossless – the record label he’s running with longtime friend Mathias Schober. With the latter he’s also teaming up for productions, remixes and occasional b2b DJ- set’s under their SBTH moniker.

San Diego was the name given to the front facing extravaganza which was beach parlours and candy floss. San Diago were the streets which sat behind the glimmering facade, where the real people lived and had fun once the darkness had fallen.

First part of the precursor 12”-EP to Mr Raoul K’s new album, which will be released in autumn 2024. The afro house pioneer has returned to his home country Côte d'Ivoire. Raoul K: “Since I know how good and easy it is to live in my home country of Côte d'Ivoire, I drew a line in Germany and set off.” So he’s back in full effect with spiritual afro-tinged gems, catching the vibe and easier living there, and discovered Sidney Simila, a new voice from Kenya. Mr Raoul K feat. Sidney Simila - Sinkere [Compost]

Dancing through the clouds, it seemed as if they might never find their way back to earth. Up above the world below, they felt at home wandering amidst the deep blue, watching as the fluffy pillows floated on by beneath them casting shadows down upon a dense green planet. From time to time they’d catch a glimpse of where they had arisen from, only to become re-emerged in the density of the fluffy white orbs.

They wandered atop a rainbow road, in the search of something more, something far more than what was beneath. They danced amidst the stars upon a highway of technicolour dreams.

This was the vision of a new future.

Anna Schreit is a Berlin producer and DJ who has dedicated an EP to close friends. Forthcoming on Compost Records this one showcases elegant House music with a nod to Detroit and beyond.
