Rafael Da Cruz’ debut 12“ finally hits the streets, dipping into deeper, gloomier spheres of house. Soaring synths cleverly trim the bed of fat broad baselines. The Black 80s give the original a wicked analogue touch, with a splendid soulful vocal version as bonus track. Cosmic Cowboys and David Hasert supply two impressive remixes that both create a dark, but uniquely vibrant scenery and complete the package.

With a name like that, you should become a leading actor in an Coen-Brothers-Movie, professional soccer player at Benfica Lisbon or head of government with a dictatorial claim for leadership. Eduardo Rafael Da Cruz Ferreira - editor of the magazine FAZEmag - early devoted himself to electronic music. His graceful and melancholic interpretation of deep house he quickly made a name for himself in numerous clubs from Cologne, over Hamburg to Berlin and at festivals like PollerWiesen, RaveOnSnow, Utopia Island and Nature One. With "Right To Love" he started running his own night in Cologne's most famous Club called Gewölbe, where he presents acts like Maceo Plex, Mario Basanov, Ten Walls, Deniz Kurtel, Miguel Campbell, H.O.S.H. or PillowTalk in a very exclusive atmosphere.

We the people of this nation declare this our house and that which is American society; the worker, the mover and the shaker no longer tolerates the assassin or the ideation of such nonsense, a kin to the thief, the breach, the chaos agent and the liar -- harming others for personal gain is beneath us -- rise or fall, do not manipulate, propagate or come to us with more than one face -- those who did and do the work; to know, to love and to draw the line to rise!  

This age shall be a golden brown and bright yellow-blue at sunrise and bright yellow-orange at sunset; shall we arise in UNITY, sovereign individual, blessed we shall be, many of us like minded and as diverse as the universe; now free of all entanglements; we cannot be kept from rising anymore; we kicked down the door, we must unite more than ever before!

Alessandro Diga, a young talented dutch artist, delivers 3 solid techno tracks for the fifth release on the BergWacht record label. “Phaedra” starts with a great bassline and goes into a warm melodic techno track with a lot of emotions, dreamy synths and it goes along with a clear hihat. The track is able to be dreamy and not cheesy at the same time. “Sonora” is grounded on a rolling bassline and clear hi-hats as well, it goes over in nice effects with outstanding breaks, but it finds back to the starting rhythms. “Dahlia” the hidden B-2 track transmits a deep journey with melancholic feelings.

Exclusive Julian Stetter 'Chorus'

Cologne based producer Julian Stetter, who recently contributed an edit for Kompakt's 'Total 17' compilation, makes his debut on Jennifer Cardini's label Correspondant with a six-tracker called 'Another'. The Torture the Artist exclusive 'Chorus' caused quite some buzz when Marcus Worgull introduced it to a wider audience in his Boiler Room set last year. A drifting bass line in combination with deep yet eclectic and recurring synth chords are the track's essential elements and create an elegancy in Julian's omnipresent preference for melancholic influenced music.

Julian Stetter's EP 'Another' including 'Chorus' will be out January 12th, 2017 on Correspondant.
