Through the analog haze come the rumblings of German-based producer and DJ Pressburg with his aptly named ‘Dubbyrim’. Warm melodies and distressed percussion set the scene as the muted synths bounce along keeping time and the groove alive. 

Dubbyrim, and in turn the remainder of Pressburgs’ first release ‘Insides’ on Someguy Records will be out on December 2, 2022.

Originally recorded in 2001 by Ugly Music label head Felix Dickinson, DJ Shakra and Blane Lyon People’s People now gets its release in Blane’s memory with remixes from Brother Lee Love, Crazy P and legendary Chicago House producer and DJ Ron Trent. Latter comes up with a steady groove as well as funky influences and infectious chords, which not only support the continuous funky vibes but also set the basis for Blane Lyon’s spoken vocals. Trent’s remix is an inevitable piece of groovey art stretching the moment of satisfiable funkiness to a eight and a half minutes and giving listeners the feeling of being captured in the beauty of the loop or rather in an everlasting House music beauty.
