Amsterdam-based DJ / producer, @format-amsterdam label honcho and resident at Shelter club, Juan Sanchez has established himself as a techno buff around the globe.

Mastered artist behind a booth as well as inside a studio, he has already collaborated on labels such as @tokenrecords, Fiedel II, Symbolism, @cod3qr (Laurent Garnier & ScanX) and @aex-records... Beside releasing on his own Format imprint.
His stripped-down powerful sound and strong experience brought him to a wide variety of venues and festivals such as Berghain, Awakenings, Paradigm, Ampere and Time Warp. Moreover, he has also been running his own club night since 2020 : Foʞus.

Thus, with plenty of performances and projects lined up, Juan steadily continues to leave his special mark on the global Techno scene.

1/ Who are you ? What do you do?
I'm Elad and I am mostly trying to complete tasks while finding other ideas for other tasks every second of every day. And music too ! when I remember I'm a producer.

2/ If you were an animal, which one would you be?
An eagle for sure, because flying is awesome and then I won't have to use the public transport.

3/ Most embarrassing song in your music library?
I would say Bailando but nowadays it's a secret weapon, so maybe "Celine Dion - I Drove All Night" but is that embarrassing ? or AWESOME?
