Amsterdam-based Dj Ojo Ojo is up next on the 66th edition of our mix series. They seek the balance between archaic baselines, groove and energetic-hybrid euphoria. No thinking, only dancing and no risk = no fun. This is like a philosophy to the artist and also comes back in their role as one of the conceptualizers of the event series “Parrhesia”, which is focused on delivering an intoxicating & innovative take on the genre.

Glotzbach, a DJ based in southern Germany and resident for clocked collective, has been invited to the next edition of our mix series. He's known for his colorful approach to selecting music, mostly from the 90s and 2000s, and his commitment to playing only vinyl. His sound is driven by percussive rhythms, uplifting elements, and tribal infused productions that keep the ambience high and the listener in a moving state.

▻ You are originally from Munich, and now you live in Berlin, what brought you there?

I moved to Berlin for my masters but I loved the city since I was a child. Together with my passion for techno it just made sense to move there.

▻ Where did you have your last gig and how was it?

My last gig was Anomalie Art Club in Berlin for a privat event. It was fun but I‘m looking forward to play a clubnight someday. 

▻ You produce your own music in the meantime, how do you always start there and with what equipment do you have for it at the start?

I start with the kick and bassline, add a synth and fill the tracks with drums. I use an analog four a tr8s and ableton live to make my music. 

▻ What's on your musical agenda for 2023?

Finishing my first EP.

▻ I heard you go out a lot, what are your favorite clubs?

Berghain, RSO and ELSE.

 Based in Dublin, Ireland, Aaron Page recognised as “PageOne” started getting involved in music at the age of 17, DJing at local events & parties. Since 2019, he has put his focus towards production and has released on labels such as PRX Records, Secession Records, Undivided Label, Syncopated Records, and more, with support from international artists such as Blue Hour, Marrøn, Kr!z, Kaiser & many more. 

His path to date has put him on line ups with some of technos biggest profiles, having shared line ups and been main support for Kaiser, Alarico & Stef Mendesidis After running a series of underground parties in the outskirts of Dublin & playing in some of Dublin’s best venues like Index, Bow Lane, Cellar, Wigwam & more, he decided to begin a new journey by setting up his own label ‘Undivided’ alongside another Dublin based DJ.

This week we are joined by the Amsterdam based Fabiënne, also known as Vibrance. Her artist name reflects the aim to raise vibrations, getting people into a flow state and connecting with themselves and others on the dance floor. She seamlessly blends dreamy and raw sounds with proper techno, creating a warm and energetic flow.

Her current style is focused on underground techno, embracing her love for the genre that was ignited during her exploration of the vibrant and diverse underground scene in Amsterdam over the past decade. Her style is trippy, sexy and fierce with edges of dub and Detroit techno.

What makes her unique as a DJ is that she has a background in yoga and psychology: she is aware of how music can influence emotions, atmosphere and energy.
