Have you ever felt so tired but unable to sleep, so it feels as if you are in a trance seeing things around you in slow motion, or rather you might feel awake in your dream……
I was watching a movie the other night….well let’s call it early morning, since I suffer from insomnia. Anyway couldn’t sleep, so decided to watch a movie, and came across this movie called ‘Angel Heart’ set in the south, New Orleans. Such a magical, mystical, thrilling, captivating and shall I say erotic movie. Loved it. 
This really inspired me and went straight to produce this track. 
As I mentioned so many times before, I work best on impulse.

This is the second song going back in time.

The year 2017 was not a musically productive year for me.

It was difficult for me to compose something decent, from my point of view, of course.

The songs they were thinking of were beyond my ability and knowledge to make music and that was frustrating for me. Today I have some sketches from that time that I have not developed yet.

However, I did my first song where I combined piano and electronics in a way that I have unconsciously and slowly developed to this day.

This song is called "Hurted in silence", which was released in 2018, but performed in late 2017.

Although it is dynamic and has a certain rhythm, it really is sad and dramatic. I draw on memories and experiences of people I met who taught me how cruel some people can be to others for no reason, just for the sake of feeling superior, when in reality we all have abilities that make us unique and worth knowing and respecting. .

It is possible that he was thinking of helpless people. I have a close case that will affect me my whole life.

Here's another preview of the upcoming Penelope's Thrill album--something a little different--a rock song with a tuba solo! When I was recording this song with my Starfire XII electric 12 string, I just felt it was crying out for a tuba solo (which would be about the biggest possible contrast for the chime of a 12 string). Luckily, Ben Jaeger--the amazing guitarist for the Madison, Wisconsin, band Sunspot--is also a tuba virtuoso, and he agreed to take this on.
"L&C Eternally" is about Lonnie and Chloe, who grow up on adjacent farms in southern Wisconsin. (In fact, the whole new album is about them.)
The main guitar I play on this is my 1966 Guild Starfire XII, my choice for the best electric 12 ever built. With some fast-picking and palm-muting, it can make some unique sounds! The Starfire is helped by my Gretsch 2420 and my '78 Guild S-60.
(And, yes, that is me doing the really high backing vocals!)
