Prieur de la Marne est un animal de nuit au sang chaud, né sous le signe du désespoir un soir d'hiver. Aussi loin que je me souvienne, je l’ai toujours connu jeune et insouciant. Malgré son âge désormais avancé et les années qui nous séparent, je l’ai toujours considéré comme un petit frère, un cousin de Province un peu évaporé, un idéaliste irrécupérable, mais foncièrement bon et attentionné envers ses vrais amis. Une petite bête sauvage sur laquelle le temps qui passe ne semble pas vraiment avoir de prise…

Prieur de la Marne’s strange-but-evocative name is a tribute to a key figure in the French Revolution, known for his extraordinary eloquence, oratorical skills and charisma.
The 2014 Prieur de la Marne isn’t aiming at bringing about a revolution in the process of musical creation since he’s only interested into mixing pop treasures which have been more or less left aside, to turn them into charming as well as unexpected edits, in which François Mitterrand meets Yves Simon whereas Romy Schneider has a rendez-vous with Lucio Battisti.

The Italian-German composer, DJ and founder of the record label 99CHANTS. He has been releasing music since 2010, but it took self- evaluation and a re-examination of his priorities for August to lean towards the future and follow his most experimental inclinations.
In 2023, his output is harder than ever to define, stretching across genres and disciplines to chafe the heart of the human experience.
