— a voice rising from Rouen’s mist, weaving techno pulse and d&b tension into something raw, ritual, and deeply human.

Fresh from her stunning debut album Percussive Reverie (Annulled Music) and ahead of her forthcoming Nefanda on Samurai Music this July, Aerae speaks in refracted rhythms: sinewy drums, cavernous reverbs, melodies coded in Latin fragments. Dance music as incantation—dense yet breathing, suspended between rave energy and meditative drift.

In the booth, she ventures further—fusing UK-leaning sounds with trippy twists and textural experimentation. A flow that pulls body & mind into the same gravitational field.

STL-P adopte une approche singulière pour ce podcast d’écoute : elle sélectionne des disques techno et bass produits à l’origine entre 135 et 145 BPM, qu’elle dépitch lentement entre 90 et 100 BPM. Pour ce faire, elle joue ses vinyles en 33 tours au lieu de 45, offrant ainsi une nouvelle lecture rythmique et une densité inédite aux morceaux.

Sa sélection, mêlant vinyle et numérique, est entièrement tirée de sa collection personnelle, patiemment constituée au fil des années.

Maemm shapes her sets by developing diverse atmospheres. Influenced by a hypnotic style of techno with occasionally psychedelic overtones, she also draws inspiration from ambient and more experimental genres. Her passion for exploring and discovering new sounds allows her to remain in constant evolution. Based in Paris, she is the co-founder of La Taquinerie, a collective that organizes events combining ambient, downtempo, video performance and poetry. She has had the opportunity to share the stage with renowned artists and to play in iconic venues such as Berghain.
