I was really lucky to be able to share a guest mix from French DJ and producer @sindh for October's Netil show :)

I've been a big fan of both of Louis' musical projects, Sindh and @9_beats, for a long time. So after finally meeting him in person this summer at Pan D'or, a small DIY festival he co-runs, nestled in a forest in Burgundy, I was so delighted he was able to contribute a mix to the show <3

A hypnotic hour of wiggy half-time dnb and glowing, droney ambient, this mix is pretty special as it's an excerpt from his set at this years' Ouroboros festival🐍

And as usual, for the first hour, I drifted though some tripped-out earthy textures🌿

Netil Radio - Faery w/ Sindh - 21.10.22

Today's mix in our 'delayed x mostra' collaboration is a live recording from one of our ultimate favorites, Estrato Aurora, who joined forces with flamenco artist Ana Sola to create quite a unique symbiosis. 
The live performance of Estrato Aurora and Ana Sola at the extraMostra party in Barcelona was a stunning display of the seamless fusion of two seemingly distinct genres. As the deep techno beats unfolded, Ana Sola's soulful voice cut through the electronic soundscape with raw power and emotion. The duo's ability to bridge the gap between electronic music and traditional flamenco is impressive.
The combination of Estrato Aurora's deep techno production and Sola's passionate flamenco singing created a unique experience, showcasing the power of music to transcend genre and cultural boundaries. 

The crew behind MOSTRA has held 23 ExtraMostra events in venues and clubs of all sizes in Barcelona, as well as public facilities and other cities in Spain, such as Madrid, Valencia, and Seville. We have been abroad to London, Berlin, Porto, and Amsterdam.

- Why? Because MOSTRA wants to: 

1) To program local artists that sometimes have a hard time getting into the circuit of commercial venues and big festivals 
2) To collaborate with labels and collectives with which we feel identified or have a similar style to ours 
3) To bring artists that we really like from abroad and that usually don't come to Barcelona 
4) To bring artists from Barcelona to play abroad, Massa or Imox, for example.

His music has a distinct oceanic quality that can be as riveting as it is serene. After releasing one of his tracks on the last Unrush compilation, it was only a matter of time until we had him on for a mix. This week we are inviting @mayilovesummer to our realms. Founder of Brooklyn-based and queer-focused collective @hybrididentity. This mix is a live recording of @mayilovesummer performing the opening duties for Berlin-based collectives @art-bei-ton party at Zion, Brooklyn.

ARTIST'S BIO:
@mayilovesummer strives to share and support music that she loves, giving her a stronger and very relatable voice to convey what inspires her. Music allows her to act as a vessel, creating a shared soul-cleansing experience. The meditative and ambient sounds work dichotomously within her mixes as patterns build and transcend, taking different forms and allowing emotions to be felt deeply and majestically.

Musically, she is influenced by dark, hypnotic, bass-driven, broken-beat techno, experimental, and ambient. Growing up in a family that followed Vaishnava tradition (one of the major forms of modern Hinduism) she is to this day naturally gravitated to Eastern sonic patterns. Paying close attention to ethics, diversity, and inclusivity when she constructs her mixes, she is mindful of the presence of female and queer artists in her collection.

We are so thrilled to finally share this delicious mix recorded by the French/Polish DJ and producer ~ ina kacz. We met Ina last year in London during her visit and have immediately bonded over a few shared musical experiences, keeping in touch since. It feels so right to finally welcome her to the Introspective Electronics family. She recorded just over an hour of seamlessly flowing ambient textures weaved together with various shades of rhythm-driven experimental dance sounds for us  🤍

Ina’s music taste is refreshingly eclectic, yet she manages to keep her signature sound ~ combining deep atmospheres, breaks, tribalism and groove ~ well defined. A household name on her local Berlin scene, with DJ sets at Berghain and Tresor under her belt, Ina also tours around the globe, notably in Georgia, France, Portugal, or Colombia among other places. In 2022, she has released her first track ‘Sequoia’ as part of a compilation on the Colombian imprint ‘From A Lost Place’ 💫

This mix is the perfect example of challenging the frontiers between music for listening and dancing. Starting off patiently with droney ambient and glitchy downtempo, the mix picks up pace around its middle section to dive into heady, futuristic drum’n’bass weightlessness wrapped in soft, warm & fuzzy blankets of lush atmospherics. Ahead of Transmissions from Hackney, taking place across ten venues in Hackney Wick on October 7, we headed down to the Netil studio for a day celebrating the sounds of this year's event.

With mixes from Adam Pits, DJ Teeth, DJ Wiggles, Faery, In2Stellar, Inner Zone, Jin Synth, Kit Seymour, Miro SundayMusiq, and Remove Me, the sets travelled from textural, ambient soundscapes, through to high energy trance and techno - a taste of what's to come at next month's festival.

Lady Maru started producing music in 1994  with an electric guitar, some toy percussions and a tascam 4- track recorder .Since then, she has been playing in no wave post punk bands with electronic devices.
She started djing in Rome in 2003 for clubs and open parties that slowly grew. Her sound has always varied between harder techno, deeper techno and underground house...depending on the night she would play from 120 to 130 bpm .
At the moment she is working as a dj in the weekends and producing mostly deep house and techno tracks with a light psychadelic touch .
She is resident at Amigdala party, a techno night that works and has worked in the best roman clubs and "interesting new" spaces (past Goa Club, Animal Social Club , now Rashomon, Rampa Prenestina) ,and she is resident at U-Kabarett, a techno night mixed with live performances and in a little afterhours underground bar located in the liveful eastern part of Rome.
