This is a 4093 dual oscillator drone fed into a homemade Slinky spring reverb. The spring is driven by a speaker coil, and the signal is picked up by a contact mic clothes-pinned to the Slinky. The rattling you hear is vibration of the mic against the spring, and in the second part it picks up a feedback wave, which adds to the rhythmic quality of the piece. No other processing has been done. This track will turn up in future shows and recordings.
