This is a re-telling of recent events, in Eugene Oregon.  It also forms the formal start of campaigns here to build up our resilience by forming circular living practices which aim to bring back the power of, The Village.

The whole campaign against cattle for our methane challenges, is totally bogus and I say this as a vegetarian.  Herbavores have been around for many thousands of years and in fact have been in severe decline for many years, from ScienceAdvances "Large herbivores are generally facing dramatic population declines and range contractions, such that ~60% are threatened with 
 extinction. Nearly all threatened species are in developing countries, where major threats include hunting, land-use change, and resource depression by livestock. Loss of large herbivores can have cascading effects on other species including large carnivores, scavengers, mesoherbivores, small mammals, and ecological processes involving vegetation, hydrology, nutrient 
cycling, and fire regimes."  

So to blame our deep challenges with Methane on cattle or herbivores generally is complete BS; pure and simple.

Wolfgang and I have a very silly yet beautiful friendship and he loves to tell me "no singing" if I try, not all the time but a lot.  He has this marvelous glint in his eyes at the time.  I took this photo when we were out in the woods and I am convinced he sees things that I do not, here he was staring past me, silent and still.  This is our first recording together and I don't think it will be the last.
