We are looking to open up the door of opportunity for fresh, talented, and innovative producers, and give them a chance for a possible official release on Progressive Vibes Music.
We want something original - anything that gives us goosebumps is a big plus!

The contest winner(s), selected by PVM Staff and original artists, will officially release your remix on Progressive Vibes Music. In addition, you will receive royalties from the remixed track, and hopefully, begin building a long-term musical relationship with our label.

Styles accepted:  Trance, Progressive House, Melodic House, Deep House.

TURBO 173 - PERTH DRUG LEGEND - Bliss & Envy: Halfers on a Fishbowl

One half of Scottish duo Clouds, Perth Drug Legend tear off a solo EP of rugged, apocalyptic bloke-techno.

What more can be said about Clouds, young prodigies who have put out as much innovative techno in the past few years than anyone. The story takes a twist with a wealth of material being released by PDL, hot off a remix of Tiga’s Bugatti and releases on Resin and Westend Communications. The sound is reminiscent of Ghost Systems Rave, but there’s the feeling that things have gotten even more refined, something that smacks of a real subcultural movement. 

Opener Balquhidder Ruins is a stomping gate-crasher, the tempo pulled back just enough to feel the grit of industrial funk, everything restrained to it’s bare essentials.

LA techno stalwart SHADED steps up to the plate with a pair of driving techno party tracks for Twin Turbo.

Recently tipped on DJ Mag’s list of 20 DJs to watch in 2016, Shaded is set to breakthrough this year. This latest EP evolves the formula of speedy, driving tech-house punctuated by trippy, heavily effected vocals. Straightforward builders, these are perfect hypnotic floor fillers. Nothing cheesy, nothing over the top, just efficient, energetic, groovy chuggers. 

Creepy Fingers spooks around an arpeggio with winding tension. This is trance inflected in the best way, inspiring the verb more than recalling any progressive, melodic, or otherwise Dutch qualities. Mindshake Records welcomes CUARTERO with his new EP ‘WAVY DISTANCE’, which marks the label's 40th release.

This young Spanish producer is characterised by his unique musical intuition and his pursuit of new sounds, textures and structures; over the past few years his releases on Hot Creations, Desolat, Saved, Moon Harbour and Circus have established his reputation as one of the hottest producers around. As expected, this new delivery carries all the hallmarks of a Cuartero release: passionate, groovy and thrilling techno. Wavy Distance EP features two original cuts and also includes two impressive remixes by Paco Osuna and Fer BR.

‘Wavy Distance’ is full of clashing beats, a consistent and hermetic track which escalates in intensity while adding choppy lo-fi vocals. Without a doubt its spectacular and unexpected 80s drum beat takes you to the very top and as its name suggests, it is a wavy bass journey between bright snares and deep drums. 

Paco Osuna’s ‘Wavy Distance’ remix travels to the limits of interpretation, keeping the “wavy” bass but with a deep techno essence. The glow in the remix comes from the galactic echo vocals amid a sway of elements, making this version a fluent and steamy take on Cuartero’s original, combined with sharp drums taking you to the roots of deep bass.

‘Talking Drum’, is a genuine tech-house piece with a dark tribal scent, dressed with his world-famous vocal sequences, transporting the listener directly to the dance floor. Fer BR interprets this track as a dry bass theme with shiny snares and sporadic deep vocals mixed with surround sounds, a remix that takes you to the most hidden parts of the original track.

Be prepared because Wavy Distance EP is set to crash the dance floors all around the world!
