Wander has been a project that saw its inception, with the title track, which I started back in the summer of 2017. Since then, I have been on an epic musical journey, learning more about myself as a producer and composer.

Coredata is an incredibly special project to me. It means everything and has given me great purpose, great joy, and calmness in stressful times.

Anyone who knows me as a musician knows of my deep love for Platipus records. Listening to Art of Trance - Wildlife On One for the first time in my loft was a life changing moment. I hope when people listen to my music, they understand that I'm absorbing that glorious Platipus sound and creating my own voice through its uniqueness, much like 60s/70s bands did with the blues, and house music did with disco.

Why Wander? To roam, to ramble... I hope you listen to this album and let it take your mind, body and spirit to the warm and wonderful alien soundscapes that I took such pleasure in creating. I wanted to create this world of sonic colour that changes at every corner you turn. Deep blues and pulsating reds; glowing greens and sultry purples. Let it wash over you.

It was an absolute pleasure to have Oracle work on a track and a remix for the album. His contributions really make the album complete. My remix of a track of his has been one of my favourite remixes I've ever done.

Retro - Acid - Prog - Psy

Since 2018, UK based producer Coredata has been releasing music that is ever changing and ever evolving, and has resulted in him being a go to producer for innovative and unique hypnotic and psychedelic dance music.

With releases on JOOF Recordings, Pure Trance, Zion 604, Matsuri Digital, and more, Jonny Royall has firmly established his name in the underground scene, and his debut album ‘Wander’, released back in 2020 was received with overwhelming positivity from all corners of the underground community.

Since then, every following release has seen Jonny exploring new sonic possibilities, and pushing the Coredata sound as far as it can go.
