I love this show! so nice to hear you chatting about the intimate side of music, which is the most meaningful and I think it shows (sounds haha) in anything a music maker does when it's completely intertwined with the very identity and growing up. Fantastic show again <3

yes! that's true and actually as part of audience, that's something I like to hear, I mean life is not full-on highlights so why pretend music is? especially when it's also depicted as a cathartic media for all the shit life throws at us :) - just thought about how the queer scene shows how political music is, and how the separation between music and "real" life is tackled down <3 <3

A glimmer of sunlight can go a long way to overcome darkness. As we reach the peak of summer, we thought it appropriate to invite our dear friend Sirko Müller back to contribute another of his classic vinyl dub mixes for those long days in the sun. As one of the founding members of Tokomak Records company, he is well known for his diverse sound, steeped in the rich history of Detroit where he draws a lot of his influence. More recently, Müller has also been putting on regular dub radio shows along with Stojche, Oracy (Don Williams) and Francesco Devincenti at the excellent d59b bar as “Dribbling". This mix similarly serves as a celebration of everything dub, with a careful and tasteful selection that spans the genre's history. So open up the umbrella, lather yourself in sunscreen, and dive deep into the (sound) waves with this 2-hour mix of pure dub bliss.

This month's recording comes directly from the depths of the Lotus Fields sector, once designated as the testing ground for self-sustaining artificial forestation initiatives. The project was targeted during the colony-wide unrest and quickly fell apart when indigenous fungal colonies infiltrated the sector’s megadome through abandoned maintenance tunnels. Strangely, these extraterrestrial fungi manifested new properties upon exposure to the colony's artificial oxygenated atmosphere. Beyond enhancing forest growth, the bioluminescent mycelium released enigmatic pheromones with transcendental effects for the augmented mind. This transformed Lotus Fields into an exoplanetary playground, capturing the colonists within its misty wonders. The sector is currently thriving, as its experimental forests are now expanding deep underground, while its inhabitants explore newfound hive-mind capabilities and build more domes for the fungi to grow.

Once a hidden gem in the dance music world, Cormac’s reputation as a respected selector has risen . Originally from the North of Ireland, he’s known for his signature mix of HI-NRG, house, techno, and nu-wave—sounds that have made him a fixture and influence on the international electronic music circuit. His acclaimed sets have been notable highlights at clubs and festivals such as Panorama Bar, Sónar, Bassiani, Glastonbury, fabric, WHOLE Festival, and beyond.

A former dancefloor regular at iconic nights like Trade, Nag Nag Nag, and Bugged Out!, Cormac has been DJing for over two decades. His marathon closing sets at Berghain’s Panorama Bar—sometimes running 11 hours or more—have become the stuff of legend, reinforcing his status as one of the scene’s most trusted selectors.

In 2021, he launched Polari Records, a label dedicated to showcasing LGBTQ+ artistry, with releases from both rising talents and established names.

Beyond the booth, Cormac has been featured on magazine covers in Germany, the U.S., and the UK, and has contributed standout mixes to BBC Radio 1’s Essential Mix, Beats in Space, Resident Advisor, and DJ Mag.

In January 2024, he debuted his podcast Cormac’s Queerly Beloved, where he speaks with LGBTQIA+ artists and allies about the role music plays in their lives. As a host, he brings warmth, curiosity, and a deepening commitment to his work as a queer health advocate and queer history archivist.
