'Mixology Mixtapes' showcase the best underground jams, mixed by our resident DJ's as well as special guest mixes from the likes of Andre Crom, Amine Edge & DANCE and Andy Baxter. If you can't grab the latest mix from one of our events then you can stream & download via iTunes or Soundcloud. 

MIXOLOGY OFF RECORDINGS 5 YEARS TOUR WITH ANDRE CROM & MAT.JOE
2013 was a milestone year for Mixology with some of the biggest acts in the deep-tech house / techno scene gracing their talents at Red | Room. 

For our first event of 2014 we have an extra special, one-off event as we welcome the prestigious Berlin record label, OFF Recordings to Red | Room - Peterborough, UK. Head honcho Andre Crom and the duo of Mat.Joe who have been responsible for some of the biggest tracks to grace dance floors in 2013, will be starting the label’s 5 year celebrations tour at Mixology. We are honoured that such a label and these two acts will be headlining for us!

OFF Recordings were the #8 most charted label of 2012 on Resident Advisor and have had up to 10 tracks in the Beatport deep house top 100 at one time.

OFF's sound selection is eclectic, ranging from deep underground pop tunes over big prime time records; from jacking house to reduced groove tools. Diversity and fresh trends are the reason why this label is regarded with such high-distinction across the scene.

Such is the magnitude of OFF Recordings headlining at Mixology, that Andre has kindly recorded a one-off Mixology MixTape for us, which you can grab a copy of at either Red Room; download from our website http://www.mixologyuk.com or search for us on iTunes / Soundcloud.

MIXOLOGY
Built on the foundations of two Peterborough promotions in early 2012; a collective of DJ's, inspired by an eclectic range of musical tastes & genres founded Mixology. The aim - to bring a distinctive, quality sound to the area, which would rival that of any city within the UK. Showcasing unheralded DJ's from within the country, which include our resident DJ’s, who continue to set the benchmark within Cambridgeshire for their outstanding sets and ability to read and recognise the energy of the dance floor, as well as established artists from around the globe.

Fast forward from our inception and we have witnessed some incredible parties, with each event growing in stature and quality. The likes of Crazy P, Danny Daze, Finnebassen, Detroit Swindle, Betoko, Kolombo, Sharam Jey, Adana Twins, Huxley, Amine Edge & DANCE, Betoko, Maxxi Soundsystem, Miguel Campbell, PBR Streetgang, Miguel Puente, James Silk, Kreature, SION, DeMarzo, Bluford Duck & Andy Baxter all headlining sold out parties at our residency, Red Room.

RED | ROOM
The RED | ROOM in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire was once an old stage room to the prestigious Embassy building where artists such as the Beatles and Rolling Stones once played. Still maintaining its heritage, the RED | ROOM is now a new music based establishment aimed at showcasing artists and DJ's from around the globe. The exciting 400 capacity venue features a powerful Martin Audio Sound System and a cleverly positioned LED DJ booth which turns the whole venue into one intimate dance floor!
