These are tracks that I created while learning Garageband over the past few years. 

Garageband_Experiments

I created this a while back with Garageband 6. I used all software instruments, quantized the timing of the notes, added some echo and layered the base and drums.

Once Again

Another track created with Garageband 6. I used software instruments, filters, and layering. Originally I wanted to call this track Shady Train but I went with someone's watching because it fits the dark mood. 

Someone's Watching

Another Garageband 6 creation using software instruments and a keyboard controller. I used and Auto Wa filter to play with the pitch of the high hat and give the drums a muted sound.

Rotting Bells

In this track I used software instruments and mixed synths, drums and distortion to give it an alternative rock sound. As always, quantization was my friend. It's name after the first instrument I used to create it as my tracks commonly do.

Sequence Element

This was created in 2012. I experimented with different types of drums and quantization. The bass and synth sound Reggae ish to me so that's what I called it.

Reggae ish

A track I made years ago with Garageband 6. I named it after the instrument that it starts with. I used filters on the pianos and the drums are from iKaossilator.

Chime In

Another track created using Garageband 6 from a few years ago. I used filters and auto wa on the snares and layered the synths and bass. 

Lite Blue

This track created with Garageband 6 has an instrument called Harmonic Guitar. That's where the name comes from. Not much else going on there. As always quantization was my friend.

Harm Guitar

Garageband 6 creation. Layered the drums. I used a resonance filter with echoes on  some random audio to create the abstract sound that can be heard throughout the track. This is one of many tracks I created for friends and their freestyle rap battles. 

Mellow Guitar

Inspired by Supa Hot Fire, this was created in Garageband 6 for my friends to freestyle rap battle to. I used all of the techniques I had learned at the time. I used filters, auto wa, and quantization on the high hats. I also layered the instruments to make them sound louder and  fuller. 

Supa Hot

A hip-hop beat for friends to freestyle to. This was my first time playing around with a modulation wheel which is how I made the pitch bend effect that plays throughout the song. This is by far one of my favorite tracks.

Worldpad

My first track. I was experimenting with different synth sounds and filters. Any feedback is welcome. Enjoy...

Take off

Here's my attempt at putting some apple loops together while learning Garageband. I recorded this over a year ago. It was also my first time recording my own drum loops. More to come soon... 

Jazzy Trip

This is a work in progress. I made it using the loopI uploaded called Vibrant Colors. When I hear it I think of vivid colors and Donkey Kong. That's I I decided to call it Animated Forest. I tried to use different drum sounds and effects to simulate animal like noises. Comments are welcome...

Animated Forest (First draft)

Another short piece made using Garageband. I experimented with panning, tremolos and abstract sounds this time. As usual, I used filters as well. I composed all of it except for the drum loop in the end.

Ripples

I'm a jack of many trades and master of none. Amateur musician with some knowledge of music theory and some experience performing. The rest I make up as I go along. I play some guitar and piano. Nowadays I'm trying my hand at this production thing using Garageband.
