This "JamTune" track featuring fellow local jazz guitarist and friend Mike Hoffman, who is an incredibly productive composer and producer of his own distinctly unique sounding collection of albums, collaborates with me on this creation.

This track was originally published and featured on my "Audric & Friends" SC site in 2020, during the era known as the "pandemic lock-down".
With the help and mutually shared inspiration of a small handful of LOCAL musician friends of mine, approximately a dozen fun and creative instrumental tracks where published within a half-year time frame.  
I refer to this special group of tracks collectively as the "JamTune" series.

DARK PAST IN A NEW LIGHT ("JamTune" Audric Jankauskas/Mike Hoffman-2020)

From the 2020 "JamTune" series... this track features good friend and fellow musician/guitarist TIM JORDAN in a funk/rock/progressive, and spacey sounding collaborative creation.
This track was originally published and featured on my "Audric & Friends" SC site in 2020, during the era known as the "pandemic lock-down".
With the help and mutually shared inspiration of a small handful of LOCAL musician friends of mine, approximately a dozen fun and creative instrumental tracks where published within a half-year time frame.

A spiralling journey where metaphysical rodents fight against the erosion of ethics in modern media and the Junkyard of Silenced Poets accidentally invent Acid Strauss music…

"Trademark spy movie guitars and jerking, fluid polyrhythms abound while the piano plays semi-atonal choppy chords and the percussion track involves a variety of unusual noises. There is some classic sixties-influenced jazz-tinged cinematica happening here. Indie Noir perhaps or Alt Noir. I drew a bar graph

And on the x axis I plotted

Date of birth to date of death

And on the y axis I plotted

Alcohol, nicotine, cocaine and meth

And I was able to extrapolate

A link between the y axis and the second date

I drew a pie chart

To help identify the pressures on my heart

The yellow slice was for people who are not nice

The blue slice was for fast food and egg fried rice

The red slice was for greed for the latest device

The green slice was for my tendency toward verbosity and my inability to be concise

Why does snow fall but rain drops?

Is it double trouble if it comes in threes?

Sometimes a song needs a special touch to bring it to its full potential and Finn  once again has transformed this very average little ugly Duckling song into a beautiful elegant White Swan  and lifted it to a height that only he can with his amazing vocal & production talents. The song is about an ordinary Guy, could be you and I, He has no wings, he's good and he's bad, he's human not an Angel but when you need someone he is the one who is there for you in your hour of need and always will be , because he's  Solid. He's your friend .

This painting depicts the Yoshiwara district, a licensed red-light district in the Edo period of Japan. It's a unique cultural aspect of Japan, and explaining it fully here is challenging. Interestingly, some men genuinely proposed marriage to courtesans. To some, the courtesans working here might have seemed like starlight in the night sky.
