During Orlando's earlier years Due to Rigorously prolific Performing Parents who both were riding a peak in there careers he moved around the globe. Gong were signed to Richard Bransons Virgin Records in the UK and with Bransons pushing and unique approach to marketing, Gong had become a Festival hit!* - So between Spain, France, the UK and America the little spectral Flamedog had been to school in 4 countries across the globe by the age of 13 - Which is the age he landed to be in his Father's Home - Australia for the first time. He started his spectral rhythm and Melody learning obsession in his Mum's - Gilli Smyth's Aka Shakti Yoni's Belly! he says as She performed at a variety of Gong shows and TV performances and video Clips through Europe during her pregnancy - Orlando’s professional studio and performance skills now show an incredible diversity and wide range of musical understanding through a variety genres, styles, sonics and Global Cultures.

Little Zion Studio is a dub-reggae laboratory based in Budapest (HUN) ran by a young veteran drummer-producer-engineer don_miguel from the Riddim Colony band. Svaha Sound System has evolved from stepping Sound Systems such as Jah Shaka, King Earthquake and Aba Shanti through the late 90's, mix in with that Drum and Bass, Jungle and Hip-Hop and Spiritual Hindu music and the foundation of Svaha Sound Systems sound is evident.

Having this deep education in the dance in addition to exposure to a wide variety of musical influences, a void in conscious music in the UK was highlighted, as only Roots Reggae was catering to this need. This gave birth to Svaha Sound System, combining Ancient Culture from Hinduism and Rastafarianism and pushing forward to a new dawn.

Music is a form of meditation and the same can be said of religion... So for me music is my religion.

I find my inspiration in music and it is ancient sounds and chanting, such as mantras which guide alot of my work.

The use of hindu mythology is an attempt to celebrate my heritage whilst pushing the idea of music as a vehicle for change and re-definition of old world traditions.

Svaha is the sanskrit word for 'so be it'... that sums up my music perfectly... it harks to the idea that you shouldnt over complicate it, just let it be.

Eccodek has emerged as one of the leading lights in the global electronic scene. Based in Canada, the project is guided by producer, multi-instrumentalist and remixer, Andrew McPherson. From its humble beginnings in early 2002, the band has gone on to release 5 albums, including their recent searing, live recording, Living for Live. Their blend of dub, funk, jazz and cinematic electronics, alongside stunning vocal and instrumental performances by an ever deepening well of cultural collaborators, has put them at the top of the world fusion scene. With 3 releases on U.S.'s White Swan Records and numerous releases through Real World Records, Six Degrees, Buddha Bar and more, Eccodek continues to push the fusion vibe in new and exciting directions.

2011's Remixtasy saw the band's earlier work remixed by a tastemaker's list of producers, reimagining tracks from More Africa in Us, Voices Have Eyes and the Juno-nominated Shivaboom. Heavyweights like Transglobal Underground, Six Degrees' Jef Stott, Dubmatix, EarthRise SoundSystem, Real World's Syriana, Adham Shaikh and Delhi 2 Dublin's TSpoon created fresh interpretations of Eccodek's catalogue. Eccodek mainman Andrew McPherson gave the redux treatment to 2 radical redubs from the first album - an Afrobeat throwdown and a sensuous Steppers dub odyssey. A great way to celebrate 10 years.... but sights are now set on the release of their 4th studio album in spring 2013. (a stunning collaboration with Malian griot Jah Youssouf) There's no telling what exotic shore the Eccodek mothership will wash up on next.
