There are infinite possibilities, endless ways of understanding music, whatever genre it is. After a very difficult year, away from my true passion, I present this new 4-track EP, which tells a story, a vision of my own reality. I really wanted to go back to the studio, and I hope you find this new musical adventure exciting, created directly from the heart to your senses. It feels like an eternity of darkness. Seeing the weak, crawling hands of light rays radiating from the dying sun on the horizon, not quite able to make a dent on the pitch darkness, one might wonder: will the darkness prolong for another eternity? Unknown to them is another world, trying to break free from the grip of relentless & blinding light.

The beings on both sides roam around trying to find the switch that can flip through reality. But, as with most things in the cosmos, they feel controlled by the invisible threads of a higher power, a machine that no one knows. The sands of time flow endlessly through that machine, waiting for the signal to reverse the flow. Will anyone amongst the millions, be able to find that switch hidden in plain sight, within their own minds?

It features an all-star lineup from the label roster and friends to showcase the current state of the art. For this release, we collaborated with the fantastic Joe Vaux. It is a true honor for us to have Joe, a humble painter, and a director on the legendary Family Guy tv series, whose art is also used as the work of a character named Goliath on Syfy channel's Resident Alien. This 17-track release can show a glimpse of our repertoire and we assure you it will keep you moving and grooving in the quintessential sangomesque fashion. We want to thank everyone who has been supporting us on this path.

Cosmic Playground is the brainchild of Jonas Tristan Wiesner, born in 1998 in a small town in North-Rhine Westfalia, Germany. His journey into Electronic Music commenced early on, but it was in 2015, during a transformative experience at a Psychedelic-Trance party, that his passion for the genre ignited.

Captivated by the mesmerizing sounds and the vibrant spirit of Psy-Trance culture, he embarked on his musical voyage. Beginning as a disc jockey, Cosmic Playground soon delved into crafting his own sonic landscapes, giving birth to his distinctive style.

His soundscapes are a fusion of groovy percussions, mind-bending lead sounds, and subtle melodic fragments, infused with funky instruments and innovative arrangements. With a signature rollingstyle baseline, typically ranging from 146 to 152 bpm, his music seamlessly transitions between day and nighttime atmospheres.

In recent times Cosmic Playground has made significant strides in the industry, with his tracks featured on compilations from esteemed labels like Transubtil Records, Digital Shamans Records, Brahmasutra Records, Stereo Society and many more.

His debut EP, "Untold Tales," released in late 2022 under Hekwapi Records, garnered widespread acclaim, propelling him into the Beatport Charts.

In 2024, Cosmic Playground proudly joined the esteemed "Reversible Records" family, marking a new chapter in his musical odyssey. With his boundless creativity and unwavering dedication, Cosmic Playground continues to captivate audiences worldwide, pushing the boundaries of Psychedelic Trance music.
