Gaston Ponte is an artist with a rapidly growing reputation within the progressive house community. A Buenos Aires native, Ponte has quickly found his feet with a plethora or original and remix production material dating back to a late 2018 debut for Clinique Recordings. Since then, the Argentinean artist has not looked back with over a century of credits for the likes of Balkan Connection, Or Two Strangers and Asymmetric Recordings. A remix of Andrea Cassino and Lio Q's "Asante" saw a Proton Music debut in October 2021 as Gaston Ponte now debuts on Particles with the tension filled "Accelerated". A driving rhythmic foundation and machine gun hi-hats fire across the percussive top line while a combination of searing synth swells, free-flowing melodies and 303-tinged arpeggio swirl across the 8-minute piece. Reaching a rousing crescendo at the breakdown, a drop down to the bass-heavy, rhythmic bedrock then sees the melodic collage once again build to a dynamic finale.

Simos Tagias has been at the vanguard of the progressive house scene for almost a decade. Some 400 production credits later, the Greek icon has found himself a regular on Proton Music with such gems as the "Airlock" and "Audacity" EPs. 2014 saw a Particles debut followed by a flurry of releases including December's "Drunk State". Remixes for Jelly For the Babies, Antrim and James Monro have added to his reputation as Simos Tagias returns with a 24-carat remix that builds on the central pillars of "Accelerated" and transforms them via a swathe of new production material. A deep, rolling groove and beautifully sculpted arpeggio finds itself the perfect vehicle for Gaston Ponte's synthscapes to flow across the stereo spectrum, while Simos' unrivalled ability to create a cutting-edge progressive house floor-filler ensures that the track is destined for success and support from the DJ elite.

Balad is a name that has been synonymous with a deep and organic house sound that has found itself much in-demand since originally finding favour on the likes of Parquet Recordings in late 2017. Going on to feature on the likes of Natura Viva, Global Underground and Armen Miren's Hoomidaas, the Australian based artist has found himself supported by such star-studded names as Lane 8, Nick Warren and Yotto. Now bringing his production talent to Particles, the Balad remix of "Accelerated" harnesses the "melancholic, emotional and beautiful" characteristics for which his music has become so synonymous. Waxing and waning elegantly via thumping beat and crisp hi-hat patterns, smooth melodies pulsate gently across the near 8-minute piece. Chock full of additional production material and new harmonies, sparkling arpeggios blend with glass plucks and filtered analogue stabs. Sensitively retaining the fundamental character of Gaston Ponte's work, Balad has inspired a new interpretation that is as beautiful as it exquisitely crafted.

With a slew of releases across Proton labels, Lanvary returns to Proton Music with a wonderful original offering in the shape of "Cercanias". From a trio of Particles releases between 2015-17 "Micromegas", "Penumbra" and "Leviathan" showcased Lanvary's evolving production talent. Graduating onto the flagship label, 2017's "Venus" and 2019's "Everything You Feel" followed as we welcome the Moldovan back after a 3-year hiatus. The title track is a typically bold and vibrant affair as an urgent percussive and bass groove take control, sublimely aided by ethereal pads and a shimmering motif that pans the stereo spectrum. Building into the second half, the flowing groove picks up the pace once more with gusto and aplomb. The deeper and darker vibe of "Palindrome" continues the rich bassline narrative while a deep kick and offbeat hi-hat pattern provide a metronomic tempo. Subtle effects add to the character while an array of textured pads and delayed lead are used to magical and dynamic effect in the second half. The final track is characterised by a rolling progressive house groove and head-shaking bassline pattern. A sharper lead line flits in and out in filtered phrasing as fizzing effects and counterpoint melodies add depth before a spoken vocal creates a slightly uneasy and edgy feel to proceedings.

Alex O'Rion needs little introduction to Proton fan base. From his century of early production credits on Black Hole to his gorgeous "Nostalgia" album on his own Solis Records earlier in 2024, the Dutch artist has consistently risen a high tide of success. Further work for Balance Music, Sudbeat Music and GMJ& Matter's Meanwhile has only confirmed Alex's status. A pair of remixes for Juan Deminicis in 2021 and Michael A in mid-2024 marked a high-profile entrance onto the Proton Music catalogues, as a third now sees Alex O'Rion deliver a powerful interpretation of "Cercanias". Keeping the same percussive intensity as the original, Alex's skill is to create a beautifully and masterfully produced slice of progressive heaven. With its tight and immaculate percussive groove, the use of Lanvary's original components have been transformed into vibrant and innovative new patterns with elegant melodic touches, before a powerhouse new bassline is introduced at the mid-point to drive the remix through the second half creating a cool dancefloor destroyer.

The final remix sees the legendary figure of Matias Chilano take centre stage. A veteran of some 400 production credits dating back to 2008, the Argentinean has been a staple of LuPS Records, Balkan Connection and Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music. A trio of remixes on Proton Music since 2019 has seen reinterpretations of Huminal, Erdi Irmak and Sebastian Sellares as Matias Chilano now returns with a fourth. Taking on "Tender", Matias has produced a trademark smooth groove that has captured the themes of the Lanvary original. Adding a host of additional production work, beautiful new and evocative melodies can be heard, revealing themselves fully at the breakdown and cascading into the second half. The spoken vocal phrase is also another reminder of the track's origins as the effects-laden treatment adds another layer of aural intrigue.

Criss-crossing the underground with another original EP of power and precision, Lanvary's "Cercanias" is further enhanced with remixes from Alex O'Rion and Matias Chilano.

No stranger to the progressive community, Monojoke's productions can be found on well-revered imprints like JOOF Aura, Soundteller, Balkan Connection and ICONYC to name a few, while his collaborative project 'Fluente', together with Tuxedo, saw releases on Hernan Cattaneo's "Sudbeat Music" as well as Hot Since 82's "Knee Deep In Sound", with a new appearance on Nick Warren's "The Soundgarden". From his debut appearance on Juicebox Music via his remix of Subandrio's "Sigiriya" back in 2016 to his "Arterials" EP in 2017, we welcome Poland's very own - Monojoke, aka Jacek Gumbisz, back to the imprint with another peak-time 2-tracker EP, making his mark as one of our label's most esteemed artists. Both "Cold City" and "Superficial" feature his signature percussive-driven groove, driving basslines and larger-than-life atmospheric melodies, creating monstrous epic moments in sets. 

The sole remixer for this EP is Netherland's wonder-kid - Kasper Koman. Even though he's been producing for nearly over a decade, he recently burst into the scene with his fresh and unique style, highlighted by his releases on Guy Mantzur's "Plattenbank", Sonic Union's "Lowbit", Paul Hazendonk's "Manual Music" and more recently Mike Koglin and MoodFreak's "YOMO". His music transcends the traditional 'genre' expectations, providing a much-needed palette cleanser. Kasper's remix of Monojoke's "Cold City" is a masterclass testament to his technique - tight drums, a funk-inspired bassline, sprinkled cosmic effects while twisting and morphing the original parts to give a new life without losing sight of the dancefloor.

Returning to production duties for the 4th release on their evolving Meanwhile imprint, GMJ and Matter present "Eldarin". A pair of remixes come from Sri Lankan and Colombian talents.

Hitting their straps on numerous occasions across a broad and celebrated career, GMJ and Matter continue to make waves in Port Phillip Bay with their distinctive and renowned musical style. Joining forces on over 50 production credits for the likes of Anjunadeep, Balance Music and Proton Music, GMJ and Matter's combined talent is a formidable force. Now reprising the success of their "Lost on Origin" and "Gauntlet" EPs for Meanwhile, the pair come together for a third time. "Eldarin" is a typically dynamic affair with all the hallmarks that have made the pair such revered names in the underground dance scene. A glorious bouncing bassline groove and ticking hi-hat percussion lays the foundation for densely textured pads to weave their way across the near 9-minute offering. Redolent in trademark delays and reverb tails, subtle motifs meander across proceedings before an extended piano sequence cascades across the breakdown. Building to a crescendo at the mid-point, a driving third movement introduces glorious white-noise washes and driving beat, combining with melodic elements to evocative and mesmerising effect.

A multiple award-winning DJ, Subandrio Sinhawansa has become a force to be reckoned with via the undulating musical tapestries that represent his work behind the decks. A seasoned traveller with performances across Middle East and his Sri Lankan home, contemporaneously, a high-profile production career finds Subandrio with over a double-century of credits to his name as he joins the catalogues of some of the finest imprints including Darin Epsilon's Perspectives Digital, Cid Inc.'s Replug and Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music. Now making his Meanwhile debut, the Subandrio remix is a highly intelligent reworking of "Eldarin" that retains the rhythmic and bassline integrity of the original while introducing a swathe of new melodic material that bristles with arpeggiated sequences that shimmer in delays and subtle new phrasing. The result is a commanding rework that launches powerfully into the post-breakdown denouement with heavy beat and strong dancefloor character.

Kamilo Sanclemente and Dabeat represent another high-calibre musical pairing. From Cali, southwest of the Bogota capital, the duo has been a mainstay of the Colombian underground dance movement and beyond South American borders. With successful careers under their respective solo guises and amassing over a half-century of combined productions, Sanclemente and Dabeat have found their music allied to some of the industry's finest blue-chip imprints that include Mango Alley, UV and Nick Warren's The Soundgarden. A Meanwhile debut finds the pair on scintillating form as chugging, head-shaking rhythm creates a vibrant backdrop for fizzing white-noise washes and sweeping pads to roll across the Kamilo Sanclemente and Dabeat remix. Gentle melodic flourishes caress the mid-range with style and panache as they rise in prominence through an open filter that ushers in a sublime new melodic groove in the third movement alongside a high-energy counterpoint motif and striking cadence. The result is a highly original reworking with its roots firmly in GMJ and Matter's original.

Creating a new musical language, "Eldarin" speaks volumes about the talents of GMJ and Matter, Subandrio and Kamilo Sanclemente and Dabeat.

Cosmonaut was one of the first electronic music artists who has been successfully pulling in big crowds all over Eastern Europe. 
His DJ and production career started in early 90s followed by several releases and a global success of the tracks "Plasma" and "Boctok5" (Transient rec. UK, 1997) secured leading positions in the TOP 10 of the Paul Oakenfold's chart (DJ Mag's #1 1998-1999). 
In the meantime, Cosmonaut gained worldwide recognition with his dj and live sets and has performed on many events, including big festivals such as Love Parade and KaZantip, sharing stage with many leading artists such as The Prodigy, Underworld, Paul Van Dyk, Mark Knight, Oliver Huntemann. 
Currently, Cosmonaut is well-known for his quality sound production and top-selling releases on Stellar Fountain, Outta Limits, SkyTop, JOOF, Kitchen, Univack, and other labels. He is also known as the host of MegaBeat radio show/podcast and as a hero of progressive techno movement in Goa.
