“Isla” is the first single from @Meraque upcoming Live EP. Mèraque invites you to experience their live shows, where this track shines as an improvisational gem within their performance. The foundation of "Isla" was created at Lievelinge, the same location where this live recording and videoclip was produced. 

During the past summer, Mèraque embarked on a tour, performing at numerous wonderful festivals and venues. Their live shows allow for extensive improvisation, resulting in many spontaneous and exhilarating moments. To share these moments with a wider audience, they are compiling the highlights into a Live EP with Krooks Records which will be released later this autumn. 

"Isla" commences with flowing percussion, with the guitar and saxophone grooving to the rhythm. The layers of warm vocals add depth to the composition and gradually build up tension. A soulful saxophone solo emerges, contributing to a melancholic climax where everything harmoniously converges.

Helmet Lampshade’s voice, weathered by years of musical adventures, cuts through the electronic haze, reaching deep into the listener's soul with its haunting resonance. 
In perfect blend with the pulsating rhythms and shimmering textures of his indietronic-soundscapes.
The idea for „Postcards“ came during a tour through Europe when the artist lost his passport in Zurich. 
That experience sparked a vision of a room where all our lost belongings are carefully kept and organized including ideas, dreams or people.
Thus the song is a broader reflection of what „loss“ means.

Dolph Live @ 3000° Festival 3015 // Utopia Opening

Arriving from Nice to Istanbul on the 15th of June right after the attack in Nice and before the coup in Turkey, was kind of emotionally disturbing. So much beauty, so much pain. Our gig with Batu Ozer at Arkaoda the 16th of course didn’t happen. Instead we stayed home all together, drinking tea, trying to catch what was really going on, while listening to some music. From time to time our talks got interrupted by the angry voices from the street, kids screaming for something they probably don’t even understand.

Getting back to idyllic Switzerland I decided to record a set in memory of these really touching nights at the Bosporus. Thank you so much Batu and Duygu for having me with you at your place and receiving me with such warmheartedness. I guess it’s what matters most these days. 

We are one family. Physically, emotionally and spiritually. What our brothers and sisters suffer, will also touch us profoundly in some way.

Share hugs, share friendship, share love. Fly highly and connect deeply.
