The female polyphonic group “Pleiades” was founded in May of 2006 in Thessaloniki, in order to contribute to the diffusion of the Greek-speaking folk polyphonic singing. The members of “Pleiades” have already had a considerable experience in studying and performing folk music, and have performed in Greece and abroad. As “Pleiades” they collaborate with various contemporary artists aiming to explore the connection between oral polyphonic vocal tradition and neoteric ways of musical expression. They have released two albums back in 2013 and 2015. Dio S pays his respect to this amazing group and transform "Argyro Klontiri" into a Downtempo/Organic-House paradise

Once upon a time in Black Rock City, I met P.Diddy at Boeing 747. 

It was a Thursday sunrise, and by that time we had already seen some shit throughout the week.

We were talking about the downtempo music scene. I mentioned that before I got into downtempo, I listened to a lot of Hip-Hop. 

At that time, my favorite recording was "You're Nobody Til Somebody Kills You" by Biggie, featuring himself, P.Diddy.

We shared ideas on how these genres, can intertwine into something new, and Diddy asks me to remix this record...

Then I woke up.

Cometes sounds is a global mix of '' Deep tropical dancehall from outer space''.
All roads lead to Rome, but if in the capital you grow up, all roads lead to the world. It is by following these remote trajectories that Cometes, aka Andrea Cota (also known with the moniker Mondocane) finds himself doing mambassa of organic sounds of the tropical belt to engage them in a sequence of bass and beats electronics that make the dancefloor fly on intoxicating altitudes.

Exploration is the basis of all his musical production. A feverish journey to discover afrofuturisms, oriental suggestions, tropical basses mixed with the pulsations of electronic music, the one that makes the urban jungle move.
