La Revolución was composed by Manu Ela, a multi-faceted Chilean artist based now in Berlin. Handling the brush as an illustrator as well as the needle as a tattooist, she also sings armed with her ukulele and her pan flute.

This title refers to the own revolution that everyone must do inside himself to reach different steps in life with the goal of finding its own freedom. The singers Macarena Paz and Iralí are joining Manu in this quest with their incantations.

Four remixes complete this first release of the year 2022 with four different readings and universe from Judith Ahrends (Germany), Inessa (Austria), Dvniel (Mexico), and Dan Bay & Le Rubrique (Germany).

About this edit :
A dear friend introduced me to DakhaBrakha around 8 years ago and there music instantly had a profound effect on me . To me there music is a beautiful blend of all the elements i love in music: Emotion, Groove and Psychedelia. I originally remixed “A Doshchyk Nakrapaie” for my live set a couple of years ago and since then it has lived in many different forms. It's nice to finally share a version of it with everyone.

The virtuoso trumpet, the fragrances of the dub and Johann's Balkan twist together with the addictive, tribal & ceremonial rhythm of Nadav, gave birth to 'The landing'. In different times this creation would be played on every downtempo gathering on the globe. This splendid collab contains a deep and profound beat, mind-blowing melodies, and lots of joy. This edit comes from the bottom of my heart and with great humility it is a tribute to the teacher Chinmaya Dunster who I admire a lot since through music he has managed to share his interest in mother nature and her care, something that I personally share a lot .

Forgetting about nature is like forgetting yourself and perhaps we are still in time to remember who is the most important. She has lived for hundreds of centuries so I think we should start listening to her wisdom and stop believing we are bigger than her.
