Le Pépiniériste, once the elusive mastermind behind Paris's underground electronic webradio and the clandestine host of intimate parties shrouded in mystery, now emerges as a sage columnist at StarWax magazine. His evolution from a hardcore free party fanatic to a purveyor of electro, slow beats, and mind-altering psychedelic techno hints at a darker transformation lurking beneath the surface.

Meanwhile, Horseshit, the tireless digger of sound, the rebel with a penchant for punk-rock rebellion, post-punk introspection, and the pulsating rhythm of funk and new wave, has been crafting sonic mosaics since 2014. His sets, oscillating between electrifying electro, tantalizing nu disco, and hypnotic trance, promise to drag you into the depths of sonic oblivion.

In a world turned upside down, where chaos reigns and uncertainty is the only constant, we, a disparate band of souls, found sanctuary in the most unexpected of places: the Counterterraism Guest Mix Series. The name itself mirrored the core of our purpose.

Counter, the antithesis, and Terra, the Earth, symbolise our ceaseless battle to navigate the tumultuous sea of a world in disarray. 

Week after week, we invite a guest, a luminary of the electronic music realm, to share their melodies and tales. These auditory odysseys become the score for our uncharted lives.

Amidst a world veering from its familiar course, we embrace it. We dance to a new rhythm, a reminder that even in a world turned strange and unrecognisable, our connection to the Earth and one another is a tether to acceptance. Life, it seemed, had taken a different path, and we, in the harmonious discord of Counterterraism, found an unconventional beauty.

Marcelo Malta, aka MLTX, is a DJ and music producer deeply rooted in a musical legacy. Inspired by his multi-instrumentalist father, he began his musical journey early on, mastering drumming and performing in hardcore, punk rock, and heavy metal bands. This formative experience instilled in him a profound appreciation for diverse rhythms and melodies.

In 2015, a transformative experience at major festivals and parties ignited a passion for techno. Immersed in the sounds of renowned artists, he discovered a new musical direction. Encouraged by a friend during the pandemic, he embraced DJing, quickly establishing himself as a rising star.

MLTX has garnered international recognition, playing at renowned parties and podcasts worldwide. His talent was acknowledged by the Colombian collective @elviaje, where he was invited to curate, providing a platform for other underground artists.

MLTX's unique sound, coined #fusiontechno, seamlessly blends techno, indie dance, and dark disco. His productions and DJ sets are characterized by energetic and captivating performances, driven by powerful, dark rhythms that reflect his drumming background.
