Mind-Blast

Zillas on Acid make their Inside Out Records debut with an EP showered in hope for a better summer. “A Wonderful Time in a Terrible Club” is certain to become a favourite for the dancefloors, joined closely by “Not Really”, thanks to the latter’s addictive acid hook and vocals. The genius Fantastic Twins breaks from working on her own projects to morph “Wonderful Time in a Terrible Club” into a psychedelic, magical journey. “You You You You” has the more trademark Zillas hypnotic groove, with Black Merlin warping its vocals and bending the track into a darker, more ambient 10-minute re creation. We hope you enjoy this release that sees some of our favourite artists joining the label.

Ian has been playing music to people at parties, in clubs, bars and on radio for over 30 years. An avid collector of funk, soul, hip-hop and electro records, he eventually became absorbed into the nascent acid house scene in East London and Essex. Throughout the 90’s and into the 2000’s, he trod the well worn path of DJ residencies and promoting parties eventually making and releasing his own music, remixing and running a record label spanning the evolution from big-beat to NuSkool breaks.

After a move to South East London, Ian secured a residency at Deptford institution bar and radio station, AAJA, playing slots live at the bar and online, spawning the long-running Dark Disco Radio show, now broadcasting monthly on Mixcloud. 

Recent DJ bookings include iconic venues the Social in London and the world famous Golden Lion in Todmorden. As a producer and remixer, his output can be found on scene-favourite labels like Paisley Dark, When Disco Goes Wrong, Hottwerk and the seminal Nein Records, also spawning his breaks and acid collaboration with Nein head-honcho Neil Parnell as PARVALE.

Born in Brazil, Ludmila began her DJ career in 2009, quickly establishing herself within Brazil’s underground electronic scene. 
Now, based in Berlin since 2019, Ludmila continues to make a impact on the electronic scene also as a music producer with her sound in a focused fusion of Electro, Dark Disco, EBM, Techno, Synth Wave, and Indie Dance, combining the essence of classic 80s and early 90s style with dark electronic references. 

Known for her captivating energy, Ludmila has become a significant presence on the global stage, bringing her distinctive sound to renowned festivals, events, and clubs around the world

In addition to her extensive performance history, she launched the TREVOSA Channel in 2020, a platform designed to foster community within the underground electronic scene, offering artists and enthusiasts a space to share their sounds and showcase original productions.
 In 2022, TREVOSA evolved into a Berlin-based party, strengthening connections with artists from around the world. 
Now, co-founding SAVAGE Berlin-based party. Also key element as a lead singer/vocalist 
and co-producer of the berliner electronic music duo called X-TOTAL.

After 3 years behind Wonky Club in Madrid, my partner Teniente Castillo and myself start a new venue called Wicked!.

We'll be counting on great artists, just as we've been doing in Wonky during the last 3 years, where we've had the pleasure of seeing artists such as Stevie Kotey, Dicky Trisco, Loud-e, Pete Herbert, Faze Action, Tim Sweeney, Bottin, Marcello Giordani, Crazy P, Mushrooms Project, Ashley Beedle, Taco, Beppe Loda, Bonar Bradberry, Ray Mang and Kid Who among others.

The music being released by Nein Records has been massively influential to how our tastes have developed over the last few years.  Tronik Youth's Mixlr broadcasts during Lockdown cemented his status as one of our biggest idols.

Counterterraism Guest Mix 05: Tronik Youth

In a world turned upside down, where chaos reigns and uncertainty is the only constant, we, a disparate band of souls, found sanctuary in the most unexpected of places: the Counterterraism Guest Mix Series. The name itself mirrored the core of our purpose.

Counter, the antithesis, and Terra, the Earth, symbolise our ceaseless battle to navigate the tumultuous sea of a world in disarray. 

Week after week, we invite a guest, a luminary of the electronic music realm, to share their melodies and tales. These auditory odysseys become the score for our uncharted lives.

Amidst a world veering from its familiar course, we embrace it. We dance to a new rhythm, a reminder that even in a world turned strange and unrecognisable, our connection to the Earth and one another is a tether to acceptance. Life, it seemed, had taken a different path, and we, in the harmonious discord of Counterterraism, found an unconventional beauty.
