The idea of jwala has been in the making for a few weeks, and some of us subtlety hyped it in some of our posts.

jwala is a bunch of self-taught, internet-raised music producers who aim to form a community around this shared mindset. We are 7 of us right now, and we'll have more coming in.

There'll be a compilation of brand new music from the seven of us next week, and we aim to make this a monthly thing with newer artists and more music.

1 hour mix featuring 15 bonkers Bolly disco tracks from the late 70s - late 80s period - expect to hear plenty of crazy and unexpected sound fx, drum machine programming and mad percussion! Most of the music is by Bappi Lahiri, one of my favourite Bollywood producers. A lot of the tracks sound quite dubby due to use of delay on the vocals and some instruments. Tracklist is the track followed by the Movie Soundtrack LP it appears on.
