The original track goes hard! And I really could imagine a HARDcore remix of it. Get it? Haha. It's funny because it goes hard and the genre is HARDcore. Please laugh.
Anyway, This is probably my best Hardcore attempt so far. I'm happy with it c: The artwork was also nice to work on. This was the first time I draw something with the light source being behind the character. I think the result is decent.
Btw, the intro starts as a remix of OMORI - Trouble - NEVER/ALWAYS, because it's the track that plays right before You Were Wrong. Go Back., and I thought it'd fit well. Same original composer.

Edited together a little medley with all the overworld battle themes of Headspace from the wonderfully terrifying, pleasantly depressing psychological horror game, OMORI! I loved every second of this game, and so it was really nice to close 2020 with. Best wishes to whatever OMOCAT and the others decide to cook up in the future!

OMORI - Headspace Hustle (Battle Medley)

I just HAD to try and remake Basil's theme from OMORI because I love him so much. This one is based on the Daisy version of the song I think. I actually managed to retranscribe all the notes this time while helping myself with Pianobin's tutorial to know where the chords were, because I can't recognize this stuff on my own. I wasn't sure what instruments I'd be going for but I eventually picked some piano from Mother 3, and a harp sound I like from some other soundfont, and some really drowned out celesta I sort of burried in the background with so much reverb it almost sounds like a whistle.

I hope this sounds good enough, even though it isn't as much as I would have liked to do with this song.
