“Live Cuts” is a series of tracks we have been playing as part of our live set for the past couple of years.
These tracks were made exclusively to be played live. Since we started touring in 2012, we’ve always considered a live set as a work-in-progress, something in permanent motion, made "for the moment”, right there, right then. Each night is different and every gig takes us into unexpected directions. We always run away from the idea of making our live set just another “playlist” of the tracks that we officially released only to please the crowd. We wanted to take the risk to create something new and embark with people on a musical journey that was made just for them, just for that moment.

All throughout December, we’ve decided to share those exclusive tracks with you. As their name suggests, these are “Live Cuts”, they are unmastered and unreleased, recorded live. They might sound rough or undone but our live set remains an unfinished story ;)

Exclusive V 'La Nouvelle Epoque (Fred und Luna Remix)'

After premiering Fred und Luna's remix for Peter Pardeike's 'Love Supreme' back in September the Karlsruhe based musician is back with another remix, this for the mysterious artist V and his track 'La Nouvelle Epoque' on Le Temps Perdu. But what truly connects the previous Fred und Luna's remix and his current one is the story behind it. 

Before Rainer Buchmüller, how close friends call Fred und Luna, could work his 'Kraut-Skills' on Peter Pardeike's remix as well as on V's he had to overcome the burden of facing a completely crashed computer. But of course Rainer came up with a solution. The Karlsruhe resident jumped onto the next train to Berlin to meet up with his friend Achim Treu alias UFO Hawaii, who bailed Rainer out of this misery and helped him set up the remixes. And e voila here is the second one that was produced during Rainer's short visit in Berlin.

V's EP 'La Nouvelle Epoque' was released on Le Temps Perdu November 24th, 2017.

With 25 yrs years of experience behind his belt as a Dj/producer/label head, Javier Busto's (@Javier_busto) sound has evolved into a wide variety of rhythms, melodies and percussion, that represents various genres such as Dark Disco, Electronic, Slow Techno, New wave, Psycho/Cosmic Disco and other styles with clear touches of genre-bending electro and acid. This EP soon to be released under the infamous Roam recordings holds true to his aesthetics. 

Dosis featuring Mufti (@muftimix)is a composition that becomes a melodicly driven track supplemented by dark pads and whispering vocals.  This EP also contains three remixes from label boss Jason Peters, Azaria and Mufti himself. We are happy to premiere Mufti's remix which is re-engineered with cosmic pads for a dark room.
