It took a long time to get this tune finished because Mr Stabalina did indeed throw his hands in the air, and because he’s made of helium and sex musk, they floated off and were taken by an eagle.

We contacted Team America but they kept repeating ‘Mmmaaattt Dammmmmooonnnn’, over and over; we contacted The A-Team but they refused to travel; we contacted the Time Team but they had a problem with their geophys; no answer at all from The Suicide Squad. In the end we tracked them down with a sex-musk-o-meter. Hello. My name is Mr Stabalina. You stole my hands. Prepare to die.*

Safely back in the studio we’ve been trying alternatives to throwing actual hands in the air. We’ve tried ants, pants and washing machines, but after getting stung, arrested and breaking very many bones we’d recommend just sticking with your hands and damn the consequences.

*The Eagle and Mr Stabalina formed a firm friendship and are now fighting crime in Guatemala.

After the original mix gaining much love and support right across the board including plays on BBC 6 music, this remix is a welcome addition to the 'Boogie' package. Rising Star of the scene WBBL adds his unique style of Bass and Funk into the melting pot with his take of the already classic Shaka Loves You track. WBBL instantly transforms this into a festival ready battle weapon for the summer, adding his insanely high-level production and a good dose of bass to Fullee Love's (aka Soup from Jurassic 5) smooth vocals. The remix was something of a passion project for WBBL. After hearing and loving the original mix from the Shaka guys, he approached them directly asking for the parts, so he could make his own interpretation as an exclusive version for his sets, but now you can your hands on this tried and tested cut!

Mr Stabalina is a happy man and it’s infectious. He only seems to make good-time music that causes immediate engorgement and big cheesy grins. He makes children dance and old people get happily fingered. He wakes in the morning and cartoon birds flutter through his window and dress him whilst carrying him to the breakfast table, where aggressively ovulating chickens have prepared him soufflé. He moonwalks to the studio and everyone he passes stops and grins and spontaneously orgasms. How does he do it? We don’t know! Crash’s production style is a mixture of cut-n-paste ethos and modern production values and has released music with Ghetto Funk, Scour Records, Cuttin’ It Fine, Big Beat Sundays and Breakbeat Paradise. Crash also featured on Dutty Moonshine Big Band’s album ‘City Of Sin’ and he also has writing and production credits for Aldo Vanucci including his recent hit ‘Impossible’. 

As a DJ, Crash, under various aliases, has DJed from New York to Ibiza and all over the UK, from Clubs to Pubs, Festivals to Special Events. Musically Crash combines Beats, Breaks, Funk, Bass music and more in his sets, drawing from new and classic music alike.

His quest was to seek out the choicest cuts from the freshest, often unheard of, producers ploughing their trade on SoundCloud. The Scour soon blossomed into a bit of a phenomenon, unearthing some of the finest producers to not yet have their tracks out in the DJ scene!

With incredible numbers of people checking out the weekly* posts, it seemed a logical next step to set up a brand new digital label, showcasing, and officially releasing, the creamiest of the crop of The Scour. Boom! http://soundcloud.com/scourrecords was born!

Expect all Scour traditions to be upheld throughout the initial releases; selection process, BPM order, making up of new words, a touch of nepotism from time to time, it's all here.
