Breakbeat Paradise Recordings and BadboE is back again with a huge remix album with the best of the best in ghetto funk scene, each doing remix duties on tunes from BadboE’s second album: Pump Up The Funk.

It’s been a very successful year for BadboE with the Pump Up The Funk album reaching no. 1 thought out all genres on Juno as well as having tunes being constantly on no. 1 of the breakbeat charts for 3 month continuous. To conclude the year BadboE has gathered all his favorite funky colleagues for this remix album.

This insanely dope remix collection is designed to once again shake the grounds and reshape the funky breakbeat scene, like the first remix album from BadboE first album Break The Funk did it back in 2009.

Never before has so many ghetto funk legends been gathered on one album. Ghetto Funk superstars like Slynk, Jpod, WBBL, Kool Hertz, Father Funk  & The Captain as well as BBP all-stars like: Lack Jemmon (former Nynfus Corp), Tom Drummond, JiggyJoe, Zenit Incompatible as well as funky breaks bad boys like DJ Kid Stretch (Good Groove) and Chudy (Tru-Funk).

The result speaks for itself! The basses are heavy and sharp – the beats are pumping and booming and all tracks have the attitude and street-feel of the original BadboE tunes. It’s all funk and soul – mixed with the latest sounds of the glitchy bass world and traditional funky grooves. Pump Up The Funk Remixed is a perfect testament of the ghetto funk sound of 2014.

After their successful release on UK based Bombstrikes label, Lack Jemmon is about to present another glitch-hop treatment here. Sliced bass-lines, filtered synths and thick drums rule the composition of the duo from Budapest… Having had a long No.1 Charts hit for Nipponeer Records on the previous release, Kid Panel has returned to the label delivering a special re-work to please all the old-school heads who were filling the dancefloors in the '90s. In case, you were familiar with the Big-Beat raves some twenty years ago, you'll be more than delighted to hear his contribution to the release… Introducing on the label, AGFA, the godfathers of new funky-breaks, is putting down a beautiful example how a proper remix shall be delivered! Leaving their signature on the sound, the guys from USA twirl it all up nice and bouncy.... Also, showing attention and paying respect to the new generation of bass-heavy funk producers, it is Groove Mind from Italy who puts a tasty ghetto-funk bomb to the package with it’s tricky arrangement and blending of the original tracks...
Nipponeer Records being based in Tokyo, Japan; was founded by Hiroshi Fukuma in 2003. This is the 7th release of the label, while the first EP came out in 2009 - aiming to reach a place of solely ageless and quality music, where time has got no dimension.

Crash Party… DJ, Producer and Graphic Designer. He also runs his own label, Big Beat Sundays and regularly streams on Twitch with the Global Funk Fam, that he co-founded.

Crash’s production style is a mixture of cut-n-paste ethos and modern production values and has released music with Ghetto Funk, Scour Records, Cuttin’ It Fine, Big Beat Sundays and Breakbeat Paradise. Crash also featured on Dutty Moonshine Big Band’s album ‘City Of Sin’ and he also has writing and production credits for Aldo Vanucci including his recent hit ‘Impossible’. 

As a DJ, Crash, under various aliases, has DJed from New York to Ibiza and all over the UK, from Clubs to Pubs, Festivals to Special Events. Musically Crash combines Beats, Breaks, Funk, Bass music and more in his sets, drawing from new and classic music alike.
