Human Movement and Made in Paris have both established themselves as revered tastemakers in Australian Underground dance. Hailing from Sydney, having sharing stages, remixes and also a close personal friendship, today the duo unleash their first collaborative single, 'Feel Me'.

Their unique ability to create atmospheric soundscapes with driving percussion is well on show here, a battering kick and high hat combo acting as the beating pulse of its 6 minute run time. Eerie vocal lines set its anthemic tone combining perfectly with the track's ethereal rave melodies.

With both producers operating in two distinct dance lanes, they mould together to create a club roller smack bang in between their sonic identities.

EPM Podcast 144 comes from techno and electro legend The Advent. Cisco Ferreira, or ‘The Advent’, can be described in many ways: a musician, a pioneer, a sound designer, one persistent m*therf*cker, a rebel and more. Mostly though, The Advent is known for his interpretation of what we call Techno and Electro. It’s his passion for electro that we pick up here as Cisco brings a 20 tracxk electro jam session featuring the likes of Fleck E.S.C., Kronos Device, Bass Junkie, Plant43, Sub Sonic Force, Boris Divider and The Advent’s own track with Zein Ferreira (the clue’s in the surname) for our own 20 year celebrations.

Ever since young Portuguese Cisco discovered Acid House in the London clubs he frequented, his journey has been about making his mark on the electronic music scene. Or, as he recently put it himself: “I’ve been doing this for quite a few years and I’m not going anywhere.”

Fresh out of college, Cisco’s hunger for sound landed him a job as assistant sound-engineer in several recording studios. There he learned about the art of translating feelings to frequencies, while at the same time recording various high-profile artists from the world of Rock, Pop, Dance and Reggae. When acid label ‘Jack Trax’ moved in next-door, Cisco started recording for the likes of Adonis, Fingers Inc, Marshall Jefferson and Derrick May. These rendezvous sparked the inspiration for his first EPs on R&S and Fragile.

In 1994 Ferreira signed a record deal for 12 EPs and 3 albums together with Colin McBean. This was the beginning of an era during which the duo set a worldwide standard for high quality underground Electro and Techno. They hit the world with a refreshing sound, both as The Advent, and ‘G Flame (Cisco) and Mr G’, the alias Colin is still using. Nowadays The Advent is a solo project, bombarding crowds around the world with its trademark raw, energetic sound.

Continuing to take techno and electro into new realms via his Advent project and Kombination Research label, Cisco is also one of the co-founders of underground virtual club experience ‘Techno-Club’ where EPM also co-host the ‘Purple Room’ on a monthly basis.

We are back yet again with the second installment of our track series NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH bringing you 5 tracks from producers situated across the globe!

Firstly, we have an artist from New Zealand who invites you to sample his old school Detroit electro-based productions and that is Mokotron who says kia ora on his behalf. He comes in hot with his track "Reach Into The Darkness". This track is fast and bass-driven with seamless vocal improvisation adding to the tension of the track.

Next we have PTMS who we personally feel is one of electro's most exciting up-and-coming prospects. PTMS is a Helsinki-based artist making a name for himself with his heavy-hitting metallic sound. He has contributed to the compilation with his acidic track "Untitled".

Wemory is Frankfurt-based DJ & Producer who has a great taste in all music showcasing a lot of variation & styles in the mixes we've heard from him. He comes in with a beauty of a track titled "Hmmidnite Downride". We think this tune will go down a treat as its fresh and bouncy vibes really resonate with a lot of listeners.

Tom Place is up next, who has recently released an action-packed EP with our good friends over at Childsplay. His bass-driven dubstep influence and his futuristic electro style has all been merged into one track "Concrete Dub". This stinker of a tune is definitely not to be missed!

Last but not least is one of the scenes’ best kept secrets who we are sure is going to develop into a major player, Will Ortiz. We have high expectations for him due to his impeccable taste which is evident in his lovely synth-driven Detroit styled electro and ghettotech. He closes the show with his track “Chi Town”.

DJ WIFI is a Seattle-based DJ and producer who specialises in blending high-energy techno and trance. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, she fell in love with electronic music in the late '90s, drawn to the fast, melodic rush of trance. This early obsession shaped her sound-uptempo drums, catchy vocals, and bouncy synths built for peak-time energy. In 2020, she co-founded DIAL UP, pushing Seattle's underground scene forward with livestreams and raves. Since then, she's played worldwide, with sets in Los Angeles, London, Tokyo, and New York, quickly making her mark in the global electronic scene.

@fortunatomusica is a DJ and music producer born in the countryside of São Paulo who has always been connected to music and art. He began his journey dabling in various music genres, starting with rock and rap and exploring different styles like downtempo, breakbeat, techno, house, and drum n bass.
These days, he's mixing and producing a blend of house and trance without losing his roots. His signature sound is characterized by acidic and percussive instruments, creating a fast-paced yet psychedelic vibe - crafting textures and movements that immerse you in a hypnotic, Latin-flavored atmosphere. Fortunato is all about maximizing the connection with the dance floor at every gig. He works to create an immersive and thrilling environment through his music, seamlessly transitioning between various genres and BPMs.

@goldenkong, also hailing from São Paulo, started his music career with a drive to innovate. He co-founded the label Solta to promote Brazilian electronic artists, which fueled his own production work. Partnering with S.lva, he formed the French Touch duo Arcade Fighters. Known for blending genres like techno, house, neo-rave, lo-fi, and Baile Funk. Golden Kong is now a key figure in the New York DJ collective Foreign Posse and a resident on Half Moon, an online radio station. His work has been featured on respected labels and recognized by platforms like Rinse France, Vice, and Resident Advisor. He has performed at renowned venues such as D.Edge, Elsewhere, and HÖR.


Fortunato & Golden Kong - Golden Nato

After years of development in house music, @batenko's music today is a compendium of all his inspirations from the English, Berlin, Romanian and Detroit scenes. He recently appeared on the famous Roza Terenzi's label: STEP BALL CHAIN with his hit «CALIENTE», which quickly went on a world tour, played by headliners such as Job Jobse, Spray, DJ Tool and Jennifer Cardini. His compositions, cut for clubs and festivals, lead him to offer an authentic sound where deep electro tech, trancy and groovy textures predominate. You will find his discography on labels such as Jerry Horny along with premieres on emblematic channels like Moskalus, Ballacid and Les Yeux Orange, confirming the talent of this young artist. New collaborations & releases are coming in 2025 with some hit tracks and unforgettable live acts
