The EP opens with its title track, finally released after circulating in sets by M.E.S.H. and object blue for years. Exemplifying recharged energy, the titular piece is a mechanised swagger of emboldened electronics that strut onto the scene under the repeating mantra of ‘trying something new’ – a statement optimistically encouraging the listener to join in the artist’s efforts to break mental barriers surrounding the self.

Collaboration between two Lithuanian hidden producers. 5ZYL is already known through his presence on Jensen Interceptor’s “International Chrome” and debut EP “Smoke These” on PPP Records. Meanwhile Siauliai club “Space Bar” resident Bask makes his first creative appearance and gets involved in shaping “Unrevealed Species” and “Main Goal”. The EP Is spiced up with the “Main Goal” interpretation by Georgian producer 666uba and Leipziger Dj Detox, who is known by his releases on BroknToys, Uncanny Valley, Mechatronica, R.A.N.D. Continuation of the podcast series “Electro To The Masses” by Sergey Timoshov in the first independent music compilation. Including selected examples of the style, the compilation consists of 11 tracks that convey the spirit and energy of early electro, immersing the listener in sci-fi stories with a dark futuristic shade. Be careful, do not lose the connection in space and time when listening.

Each track of the compilation reflects the era of electro's ascent to the peak of popularity. Starting in the 80s, having separated from hip-hop, electro became an independent style, the sound of which formed the image of modern electronic music along with techno, house, acid and other canonical styles, while using a very ascetic set of instruments, for example, the familiar to many Roland TR-808, which became the hallmark of the style.

We are proud to present this release in our label's catalog and are especially glad to have become part of the Electro To The Masses distribution machine.
