Made exclusively on iPad using Koala Sampler. I chopped up and rearranged an instrumental cover of Mtume’s Juicy Fruit, then chopped up my drums and layered that, before painstakingly piecing back together all the chopped up bars from Biggie and the singer. I sampled Biggie’s version to get the singing hooks, then split the stems to isolate her vocals. It was super hard to get the vocals in sync but this was the best I could do. Just did this for practice/fun!

The Notorious B.I.G. - Juicy (DKODA’s LoFi Remix)

This collection of beats didn't make the first cut but now is their time. These are beats I was reluctant to upload for one reason or another. While benchwarmers vol I and II are still fairly fresh, I figured now was the time for the final purge. Also, with it being summer, my studio time has been dramatically reduced (not much new stuff). I hope you enjoy listening. Please feel free to leave comments, good or bad. I greatly appreciate the feedback. One love ✌️💚

Welcome to the many Dimensions of DKODA. I try to create audio worlds within my own sonic universe. 

*I mix creatively and not for radio, I have nothing mastered on here*

I’m on this grind 24/7 people, come along for the journey. My page just showcases my development as I practice beat making every day. I just post the results up on here as soon as I finish a new one. 

This page mostly acts as a personal record of all the sampled music I’ve made over the last 15 years, since I got deep into my MPC's and started teaching myself. I just make what I feel and try to translate what’s in my head so people can hear it. I was exclusively using Koala Sampler for iPad since September 2023 but as of June 2025, I now own an MPC X Special Edition so all new beats from now on will be made with that like the old days! Please bear with me as I try to master a new tool! This also means my 2 year iPad and Koala Sampler phase has come to an end 😢 I hope you enjoyed the 1400 beats I made with it!

Having synesthesia, I see the colours, shapes, textures and movements of the sounds in my mind whenever I hear sound/music, plus scenes in my head. I try and use samples to paint and capture what I feel or want to say. I’m all about the feel.
