Alex went to his first rave in 1992 - it was Mind, Body, Soul & the Universe. This was a life changing moment where 10,000 people in a marquee were at one with the music and were riding the highs with the DJ and MC.  The music was what united people from a myriad of backgrounds and parts of society - it was the early stages of what we know has become a global movement today.

Buying his first Technics 1210s in 1994 was the beginning of a passion that Alex still feels to this day. This journey has taken Alex through many genres, from Jungle and Drum & Bass, to Techno, to the House, Latin House & Deep House he plays most today. The focus is always on the quality of the tracks and blending them in a way that produces something which is greater than the sum of its parts.

Alex moved to Australia in 2008 and settled in Perth, Western Australia in 2015. When COVID hit everything moved online and Alex streamed live for one of the first virtual festivals - Blazing Swan Virtual Perception Festival (Australia’s Burning Man), then Colorado’s Burning Man spin off virtual festival and then for Amsterdam’s Dreamuze Theme Camp for Europe’s Burning Man virtual festival. More recently Alex regularly streams online sets for Going Viral DJs and The Pirates of Perth. 

Alex began his residency on Ibiza Stardust Radio early in 2021 which has been a great & ongoing experience. 

As things have started to open up again, Alex has founded a DJ collaborative in Perth called Sonus Sol. They play venues that give them the freedom to do things their own way and create different experiences for their audiences, sometimes including a live vocalist or percussionist alongside the DJs which adds atmosphere and depth to the live performances.

Opening for artists as varied as John Digweed, Chris Lake, ATB, Paul Van Dyk, Sharam, and the Black Eyed Peas, Jason's signature blend of melodic techno, progressive and afro house is a favorite to enhance any show.

After a two decade career of DJing in the U.S., Jason now resides in Portugal with his wife and two dogs. He still plays at select events and is available for booking.

Behind the decks stands Ravert, the artist name of Evert de Bruin , a passionate DJ with a deep-rooted love for the harder styles of dance music. 
What started as a fascination at the age of 9 quickly evolved into a lifelong commitment to the underground sound. Since his early 20s, Ravert has been honing his skills and building a style defined by energy, pace, and precision.

Known for his fast and tight mixing style, Ravert delivers high-intensity sets packed with momentum, unexpected transitions, and relentless drive. His ability to maintain energy and read the crowd makes every performance an explosive experience.

After winning a DJ contest, Ravert earned the opportunity to play at renowned events such as Pleasure Island, Art of Dance: Rauw op je Dak, and iconic venues like Hemkade. He's also made his mark in the underground scene, performing at several illegal raves where raw, unfiltered energy is everything. These nights have helped shape his sound and deepen his connection to the core of the harder styles scene.

With years of experience and an unstoppable passion for music, Ravert is ready to take the next step. Whether it's on a major festival stage or deep in the underground—he brings the fire, the energy, and the sound that makes the crowd erupt.
