Conceived as a catalogue of tools, Spiral EP is clearly aimed at dancefloors, and intended for the most demanding listeners and DJs. Rooted in the classics of progressive electronic music, this set of eight tracks attempts to reanimate the genre through a more contemporary and direct production.

It all starts with a discrete, almost instinctive percussive motif.
A loop that breathes, stretches, transforms itself without ever breaking the thread. Around it, the textures slowly take shape: a pad like a held breath, then sound fragments - glitches, interference, tension - that disturb the surface.

With the track Wadis, Biocym composes a shifting landscape where structure is never imposed but suggested, leaving each element to find its place over time. The modular sounds created in VCV Rack gradually infiltrate the sound space, creating a fragile dialogue between calm and disturbance. The result is a subtle tension of unstable equilibrium and rhythmic hypnosis.

Wadis Variations extends this spell through four singular rereadings by Piante Vive, Sauvage Dub Trio and Arto. Each artist takes ownership of the raw material, transforming it to reveal new forms: a deeper pulse, a wider space, an unexpected vertigo.

An EP like an oasis in mutation, where each variation reveals a new facet of sound material.
