Diogo Lopes aka STNDRD (Montalegre, PT) started his techno journey in early 2018 with some releases as STNDRD and Simbiose (duo).

Defined by his hypnotic, dark and mental sound, his music has been released in labels such as Dynamic Reflection, Children of Tomorrow, Edit Select, Subsist, INNSIGNN, ATD, TMM, Ucker Records, R3volution, Warok, Selected Records or BAHN· Records, the label launched in 2020 hand by hand with BAHN· crew, where he is an active member of the collective since 2019.

Diogo has shown his skills lately in the legendary clubs Moog and Razzmatazz in Barcelona, where he is now based, but also performing abroad in Berlin, Oporto, Braga, Cluj and Sofia.

Metapattern follows up his contribution to the Charged Particles Volume 2 compilation with his debut EP on Southern Lights, Undulations. The release features searing, bass-heavy cuts such as the title track Undulations and Confluence, whilst Assembly takes you back to the early hours of long-abandoned warehouse parties before closing with the ambient techno and drone textures of Quantum Behaviour.

The exploration craft Isis001, a spaceship sent by humanity, has crashed into the unknown world of Triglav, with one of the most important discoveries in galactic history.

Below, a handful of humans fight an armed group of outsiders and the entire hostile planet to protect the secret – the fate of the Triglavs, the legendary first species to show wisdom in the stars.
Over time, the group of astronauts begins to understand what is going on on the planet,and begins to understand Triglav’s secret, but will they be able to return to our planet and share the secret about Triglav?

Triglav’s heads were believed to represent Sky, Earth and the Underworld.
It was believed that Triglav has three heads because he ruled these three kingdoms and had a golden binding over his eyes and lips so he could not see people’s sins nor speak about them.

‘Passerella I’ marks @distant_echoes return to Counterchange after his appearance on ‘Stream State’ (COUNTER014) and the ‘Reminiscenze’ EP (COUNTER017).

The first in a two-part release, ‘Passerella I’ finds the long-standing Italian producer gracefully fluctuating between spacial electronica, krautrock-leaning synthesis, bass-heavy dubs and hypnotising modernist techno.

Some of the artist’s most diverse sonic outings to date, ‘Paserella’ is a perfect addition to the label catalog - once again patching together the worlds of techno and experimental, microtonal electronics.

After releases from label guests ASC and CV313, we have invited frequent contributor and resident Uun back for his third EP with Modern Cathedrals. Since his previous release with us in 2020, he has released a full length album on Ego Death, as well as EPs on Mord and Semantica. 

For Aspect of Obliteration, he brings the broken gritty textures that are often present in the background of his work forward, shining light on them and giving them new meaning. The EP’s narrative drive begins at creation with the Winds of Huron, and continues until its natural destruction at The Flood’s Arrival. 

The release was mastered in Rome by Neel at Enisslab, with original photography from Future Tragedy.

Fabrizio Lapiana returns to his Attic Music label for more well-crafted techno trips, signing his third EP of the year, this time with a remix from renowned sonic sculptor Donato Dozzy.

The cinematic 'Plenilunio' is an ambitious track with a real sense of narrative. A growling bassline builds through wispy sci-fi melodies and smeared pads until kick drums arrive and you take off through the cosmos. The deft details bring the rubbery groove to life as percussion brings more texture and drive so that you end up somewhere very different from where you started. Then comes 'Riflessi' which explores more driving and dynamic moods from the off: the supple drums and rolling kicks lock you in as minimal synth modulations ripple endlessly across the face of the track. It's fluid yet forceful, a deep techno adventure with psychedelic colours forever raining down. 
Remixer and Spazio Disponibile co-founder Donato Dozzy has already assured his legacy. His signature sound is uniquely deep and well crafted with meticulous ambient details and elongated grooves that melt the mind whether working solo or as part of Voices From the Lake. He flips 'Plenilunio' into a kinetic broken beat beauty that flutters like a manic butterfly. Flapping kicks and rugged loops bring the energy while the original's gorgeous melodies twinkle up top like a distant star. 
This is another high-class and cosmic techno exploration from Attic Music.
