Leipzig-based Kontinum returns to Crescent for a Terra Incognita EP full of depth and delicate elements, the trademark of his exceptional production. “Kapteyn”, “Luyten” and “Palindrome”, the three original tracks, display various shades of ethereal atmospheres, with subtle drums navigating in and out, taking the listener into the atmospheric world of the German producer. On the remix side, London-duo Abstract Man brings a club approach to “Luyten”, hypnotic yet subtle, while Biocym’s “Afternoon Mix” of “Kapteyn” closes the EP with a beautifully syncopated rhythm.

Led by ethereal vocals, broken beats and raw distortion, Linn Elisabet’s transgressive interpretation of techno imagines a future where double-binding societal norms have been dissolved. Driven by notions of freedom and self-shaped reality, their narratives strive to hold your hand while observing the storm of life from its eye, facing a world more vast than we dared to imagine. With a classically trained past in string orchestras and church choirs, it is given where their soundscape, as well as their fascination for existentialism, was born.

Having released with acclaimed labels like Planet Rhythm and A R T S, Linn launched their own imprint Acts Of Rebellion in 2020. The label expands on Elisabet’s mission: releasing alternative dance music challenging the border of genre conventions and traditional functionality, as well as the destructive policies that hold underground dance back from its original cause.

Complemented with its non-musical augmented reality storytelling, Acts of Rebellion can be considered a series of postal cards, demonstrating the challenges we all go through: on a macro-level as a society, and on a micro-level as individuals. Stories of unconditional self-respect and overcoming normative conditioning. Stories of reclaiming one's history and name, of shaping one's own reality. Stories of remembering love, and of Challenge bowing for its queen: fierce minds and hearts which are ready for anything.

The journey begins in the valley, where instinct guides the first steps. There is no plan, only a
feeling - to leave the car behind and follow the nearest path upwards. The trail leads through a forest drenched in moss, damp earth underfoot, and the quiet breath of pines shading the way.
It is a beginning wrapped in stillness, as if the mountain itself is waiting.

As the ascent grows steeper, the landscape opens little by little. Between the trees, sudden
windows of light reveal sweeping views of the surrounding hills, endless forests stretching
across the horizon. Each pause carries a sense of wonder, the climb itself becoming part of
the rhythm. The higher the path winds, the lighter the heart becomes, as though every step
pulls the spirit closer to something timeless.

Near the summit, a hidden cave emerges. From the outside, it seems small and unassuming - but inside, it unfolds into a vast, otherworldly chamber. Stalactites and stalagmites form silent sculptures, while the last glow of the setting sun pours through the entrance, bathing the stone in a magical light. It feels like stepping into a secret only nature can hold, a moment of awe suspended in time.

This EP carries those impressions into sound - the quiet beginning in the valley, the momentum of ascent, and the luminous mystery discovered at the peak. A translation of fleeting beauty into rhythm and tone, held like an echo of the mountain itself.
