Our next release features a deep tune by Jamie Jaq, an aspiring producer hailing from the KwaZulu-Natal, Durban region of South Africa. Inspired by 90s House and UK Garage music, Jamie's tracks have a great old school sense of style and depth to them. "The Things You Hide" is just that, a beautiful track with a fat kick and a main focus around deep piano chord progressions, a complimentary layered low end, and smooth filtered vocals.

We've got 2 great remixes on this one to compliment the original. We're happy to have Manuel Kane back with his signature deep and driving sound. We're also glad to have Col Lawton on board with his remix as a deep percussion / drums based groove. We've been wanting to work with Col who's been on fire as of late with some excellent new music. Waves Within is a genre-blending triumph from Mexican producers Luca Ferrand and Selva in which they serve up sounds that evolve through deep house, broken beat, jazz, nu-disco and hip-hop. Opener 'Bona Fide' pairs dusty jazz and disco-house with a slick hip-hop switch and some superbly sunny melodies. 'Zarapes (After the Rain)' marries Mexican folk and broken beat, then 'Back To That Thang' twists jazz guitar into a genre-fluid ride and the title track evokes tropical 90s house. Closer 'Lynx' is a shapeshifting house cut with bulbous bass and sophisticated sound design that really brings it to life.

'Introfall (Autumn)' makes for a low-slung downtempo start, 'Come Together' brings horn-led disco house fun and 'Black Tea Groove' sinks into a fat-bottomed and dubby rhythm alive with magical synth flourishes.
