“All I wanted was to have fun with this song - go total Rock & Roll and invite my family to be a part of the process and elevate the track. I had the idea of being in a bluesy mood and I thought “what is the silliest idea I could have” and then I was inspired - what about a slinky toy? From there I wondered what conversation could be had with a slinky toy and also how would you maybe feel blue about it? I thought you could feel blue if the slinky toy would not go down the stairs as this is what they are designed to do - and so there it is. I am so happy with how this song came together and I think it captures the joy and fun I was going for as well as a few hooks along the way”

I am wrapping the year with a cover.  This one here is not really a Christmas song but is the third Muramatsu-Prizeman compositions that I covered.  The song was originally performed by the British boys choir called “Libera”.  It's certainly not hard for you to notice that I struggled with the vocals but I still like to do it.
